"And you are still going out with the first guy to ask you to the prom," asked Jovie, "after all that pressure and Tre finally admits that he is in love with you? Are you crazy?"
Zooey looked confused, "Wait, stop! Rewind, pause, freeze! He has always been in love with me?"
Emily punched Jovie in the arm, "You little bitch! You must have known that Mike has always been in love with me then huh?"
Jovie looked at her friends and sighed, "Look, I always thought that you guys knew that, I mean it was always obvious..."
They screamed at her in unison, "No it was not! Jovie Marie Ramone! That is not true!"
Jovie rolled her eyes, "Kay, ever! Look, you are really mean Emily! Billie Joe was blushing and trying to hide his face from me and all, it was like he was, dare I say, for the first time in his life, emberrassed to even look at me."
Emily glanced at a now pissed off Zooey, "Look, I thought I was doing him a favor, he is just to scared to tell you haow much he is into you I guess, but that my friend, is, dare I say, obvious."
"Don't give me that! I really wanna know how he lost his baby teeth though..."
Emily looked at her baby sister, "I guess it's classified."
"Zooey! Please tell me, I have a right to know, because you know how much I love him so."
"Look, I can't tell you, it's too emberrassing to tell."
Jovie frowned. "But," contiunued Zooey, "It does have something to do with wesson oil, a lot of pulling and you!"
Jovie looked at them confused. Emily and Zooey looked at each other and started to laugh.
"I can't believe they are still going to the prom with those bozos!" laughed Billie Joe.
Tre sighed, "Well, at least I told the girl I could not even begin to live without, my true feelings, which is more than I can say for you."
Mike smiled, "Yeah Billie, I mean, if you really are in love Jovs, you should tell her that."
Billie Joe sifted uncomfortably, "Well, she would never go for my feelings, you know that. And besides, we used together and she told me that once before she loved me and that she would marry me."
Tre looked at Billie and smiled, "you guys were not even grown up yet! That does not even begin to count, she was cute and all, but now....she is a hot mama!"
"Tre!"
"Billie Joe, Tre is right," agreed Mike, "I noticed how she is beginning to grow into herself and I found myself.....looking."
"Guys, she is mine okay? I have loved her all my life, you cannot just all of a sudden decided out of the fucking blue that you want her all to yourselves!"
"We arent!" screamed Tre and Mike in unison.
"Better not. We need to decide what we are going to do about the prom."
Mike looked confused, "You arent even going to the prom, you dropped out, remeber?"
"Yeah, so?"
"Yeah, Jovs, already said she is going to Dave Grohl's anti-prom party, remeber?"
"So..."
"So what Mike is trying to say is," said Tre, "what are you even bothering with?"
"Look guys, I love her okay, if there is even a chance that she is going to be there, I have to be there!"
Tre and Mike understood, "Well, we already asked like ten diffrent girls and they all said no."
Billie Joe looked exasperated, "You guys are kidding?"
"Nope."
Billie Joe thought about it and got the perfect plan, and suddenly, he knew that Mike and Tre had the same one as him!
It was going to be a race, no doubt, but Billie Joe just had to be the first to put it into action and that was it, and he would be with Jovie.
