Beating Hearts, chapter 1
To whom this may concern,
Hi my name is Rowan I'm 16, I have long, curly, red hair and bright green eyes. I live at 26 Park Side Lane, Wroughton, England.
I have had a boyfriend named Tom but he broke up with me, I don't know why, I don't think I want to.
So this is my plan, when I have finished this letter I will let the strong wind take it away. Whoever receives this letter is my one true love (unless it's a woman, not being sexist but I don't swing that way) I will never be able to be truly hurt as letter love can not be perceived as real love.

Your letter went a long way I'm all the way over in California I will now proceed to tell you how I got your letter. I was walking back from band practice (yeah, I'm in a band, I think I may be THE best drummer in the whole world) So I was just walking along minding my own business when out of nowhere a leprechaun jumped in front of me holding your letter, this was our conversation:
Me - Hey dude you're green!
Leprechaun - I have come from England to give you this magic letter.
Me - WOW! Magic letter? What's magic about it?
Leprechaun - The little lady who wrote it is a magical fairy called Rowan...
You know it occurs to me that leprechauns are from Ireland not England. So, I didn't see any leprechauns, your letter actually was laying on my doorstep when I got home. Which, when thinking about it is kind of weird so I don't think of it.
I'll tell you about me I'm Tre I am 18. My natural hair color is brown but at the moment my hair is bogey green and I have blue eyes. What I said about being in a band is true, it's me (drums) and my friends, Billie Joe (vocals and guitar) and Mike Dirnt (bass).
I'm sorry about your ex-boyfriend but it's kind of immature to think that I'm your true love because I got your letter and also to think that you can't get hurt in letters. Maybe you need to see a therapist or exorcise your demons with your ex-boyfriend or something, because it seems like you seriously have issues.
