Ramona, chapter 2
"Uh...I have to go and do some homework"
"Ok" Scott said disappointed.
Ramona ran to her room as fast as she could and locked the door. Ramona was thinking of running away at that point. Then the next day she went out for a walk, because it was Saturday. On her way she stopped to rest for a while and decided to get some breakfast. She looked around for a good place to eat. After looking for about 10 minutes she found a place. The place didn't have a name because it had just opened. Ramona quickly sat down at a table and decided to get waffles and some orange juice.
"What would you like to order?" said the waiter, his name was Kyle.
"Ok I would like some waffles and some orange juice."
"Ok"
"Thank you Kyle"
"No problem kid." said Kyle in a friendly tone.
Ramona waited a while for her food and when it came she quickly ate it and left. Then on her walk through the park she saw Kyle again. She thought he was cute without that ugly paper hat. Then she decided to talk to him.
"Hey Kyle remember me?"
"Yeah you're that kid that orders the waffles."
"You got that right!" Ramona laughed.
"Well I have to go... "
"Ramona"
"Ok then hey I'll call you."
"Ok." Ramona said giving him her phone number. Then Ramona hurried home to so Scott wouldn't freak. When Ramona got home no one was home. The note on the fridge said 'Ramona, we saw your note and wanted to say that we went shopping and we will be back in about an hour. Hope you had fun on your walk. And by the way can you please make your bed?' Ramona would make her bed later. As Ramona rushed to her room she tripped on a wire coming out of Scott's room, she could care less at the time her had to go to her room and make sure Scott and Matt didn't see what she wrote about them in her journal. When she got into her room her journal was gone and she was in deep deep trouble.
"HOLY CRAP!!! SCOTT'S GONA KILL ME!!!!" Ramona said to herself.
"OK!! Maybe I just misplaced it." Ramona said while looking everywhere she could think of. Then she found it. It had something written in it. It was from her Step Mother Sarah. 'I'm sorry we treated you so badly Ramona' it said then little tears started to form in little Ramona's eyes. Then she heard a voice, Sarah's voice but why only her? Ramona quickly closed her journal, hid it and washed her face. Then she went into tell Sarah what she found in her journal. Ramona was thinking a bout what she was going to say or the questions she would ask.
Did Sarah show Scott?
Did Sarah really right that note?
Did she mean it?
All of these questions were about to be answered...
