Going To See Green Day!, chapter 1
Amber woke up on a saturday morning with the sun shining on her face. She was happy because today was the day she was gonna go to her first Green Day concert! She got up and got dressed and do the usual. She phoned her friend Lisa to remind her what today was but Lisa didn't forget because she loved Green Day and Billie Joe as much as Amber does. The concert wasn't until the night so they had to waste the day but it wasnt all a waste because they listened to Green Day all day to make sure they were prepaired for the concert!
Finally the night came and Amber and Lisa put on their Green Day tees. It took them an hour to get ready. They got Amber's mom to drive them both to the concert because Amber and Lisa were too younge to drive. They were only 14. It took a half hour to get to the stadium but when they finally got their they still had to wait because the line-up was really long but after waiting and waiting they finally got to the mosh pitt and the lights went out and after a minute then got bright again and Green day ran out on stage. I was screaming my lungs out as they started American Idiot and screaming the song lyrics with them! I was getting pushed around but I didnt care as long as I could see Green Day!
At the end of the concert Billie Joe played 'Time Of Your Life'. Then Mike and Tre came out and they all bowed to the crowed then ram off stage. Then I was really happy I saw them but sad because it was over, but when they come back to town I will go back to see them. So when me and Lisa waited for my mom to pick us up we went to my house and Lisa sayed over all night talking about the fun we had and that we will never forget it!
