This city's burning, "its not my burden", chapter 1

"Starry nights, city lights coming down over me," I screamed loud in this city of the lost and found. I ran away from that cell I called home for eighteen years. My parents despised me, my friends left me out having fun, the only person I had, was me. I kept on walking; shivering, it was extremely cold for Oakland this time of year.

I always come to this street every time I am pissed. I've named it "Boulevard of broken dreams," which I walk alone with my broken dreams and hope. This street I walk has every type of people...the punks... prostitutes... the homeless...and the Underbelly. I never went to the Underbelly, but I pushed myself to walk into it tonight, I've lost my faith to this...this town that don't exist. I stood by the crowd of guys and watched them smoke joints and drink. Then one guy with and angel face turned around and saw me.

"What do you want" he said to me. I looked at him. His green eyes were filled with disturbed rage. I looked away, afraid, but yet wanting to walk on the border line of the edge.

"My heat is beating from me, I am standing all alone," I replied.
"What the hell's your name?" he asked. This time I turned my head.
"Why the hell do you care if nobody cares?" I said with an evil grin. He grabbed my arm tightly. Then a guy with jet black hair pulled the guy away from me.
"What's your pleasure, and what is your pain?" the other guy asked.
"Holding onto your heart like a hand grenade," I said evilly. The guy smiled and let go of the other guy with the angel face that was trying to kill me because I wouldn't tell him my name.
"My name is Jimmy and you better not wear it out," he said.

"TUNNY!" someone yelled from inside the Underbelly. The guy that saved me from Jimmy was Tunny. Tunny turned around, "He's coming at you on the count of 1, 2, 3, 4." Then he walked away. Then without a doubt I realized my shallow hearts the only thing that's beating....
