Another Guy, Another Fight, chapter 3
We got back to the radio station. We walked through the push through doors and proceeded to the front desk. That firery man lady was there again. We quickly walked past her desk and were stopped by her bitchiness.
"Where are you two going? I'd like to see Identification please."
Gees, what was with this lady? We already showed her ID before. Is she forgetful or something or just a bitch? I think a bitch! We walked to the counter. Tre pulled out some special slip with his picture on it and showed it to the lady -cough- man!
"Here ya go Ma'am!" Tre said to her in a cheeky tone. She took one look at him and then studied him from the photo and once again pulling out her magnified glass. I rolled my eyes, which I think she saw.
"Do not give me cheek young lady otherwise I will drag your ass out of this building!" she told me in an angry tone. I nodded, "Cool."
"What did you just say to me?"
"Cool!" I pronounced so she could hear me.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" she spat out.
I shrugged, "I don't know."
Tre watched on as this woman was verbally accusing me of a crime of some sort.
"Eh Ma'am could we please settle this like grown ups." Wow how grown up of you Tre. Why was he been so nice to this bitch? I want to punch her face in right now but that's not me to go around bashing up random people... I mean she was an ugly random.
Tre's words had settled her down and we were allowed to proceed through to the next level if I do say. Level 2 would be hard... I had to go face Craig now. Oh boy... he is gonna be super pissed off when he sees Tre by my side clung onto me.
As we approached the temporary HOT30 studio as I stepped closer to Tre, lingering my hand with his. I looked down at our hands eloped in each other and smiled. I couldn't explain it. My breath was taken away by this guy.
Tre like a gentlemen opened the door allowing me to step through first. I walked through to meet several familiar people. Craig was the first to acknowledge me.
"Where have you been?" he asked me with great concern. He was starting to sound like one of my parents. I have a life too you know Craig. I am not your possession!
"Out with Tre." I caught Tre's hand as he walked through the door as I wrapped his arm around my waist. I didn't do it to make Craig jealous but to make him understand. I was officially with no one at the moment any way so it didn't really matter. Craig glanced me up and down and then turned back to his desk. I saw Billie Joe and Mandy sitting on the couch together, in fact she was sitting on his lap. I smiled a little and grabbed Tre close to me and pulled him over with me towards the couch and sat down next to Billie with Mandy. I pushed Tre to sit down first and then I sat on his lap. So there we were. The four of us on the couch together with Craig at his desk near us. The five of us in the one room together. Wait a minute... where was Mike, and Chodoboy? Who cares right?
"Hey Mandy. Billie Joe keeping you company I see!"
She grinned. "Yep! I see Tre is keeping you company too"
Thank you Mandy! Perfect opportunity to express how I feel about him to others in the room, "Yes he has been super nice to me!" I leaned in towards Tre and gave him a kiss and received one back. Billie kissed Mandy on the cheek and she went red in the face. I tried my hardest not to laugh for Mandy's sake.
"I'm thirsty. Craig we got any drinks or something? Billie asked.
"Yeh sure, help yourselves. They are in the fridge over there!" Craig pointed to the fridge in the far left hand corner opposite us.
"Thanks" Billie looked at Mandy, "Can I get up now?" he grinned. Mandy nodded and she got up off his lap. Billie went over to the fridge. "Hey you guys want anything while I'm over here?"
"What is there Bill?" Tre yells from behind me. His voice can be powerful when he wants it to be. My ears are ringing!
Opening the fridge door, Billie excitedly says "They got VB!"
"Awesome! Give us one" gasps Tre.
Billie gets one out for himself and one for Tre. "You want one Craig?" he offers. Craig shakes his head saying 'no.' Billie comes back over to us handing Tre his beer and sits down next to Mandy.
"Hey Mister, you didn't ask if me and Kris wanted one."
"Aww sorry sweetie, I forgot to ask." He apologizes to Mandy.
"That was a poor excuse but I will forgive you" Mandy gives him a brief hug.
"I forgive me too babe. Ill be right back with more if you want them that is. You both want one?"
"Yes please" we said in sequence. Billie chuckled.
Billie came back to us with two beers.
"Thanks" we both said. I tried to open mine as Mandy opened hers with ease. Tre snickered while I tried to open it. "This would be easier if I hand tougher hands and larger hands" I mumbled
"Let me open it" Tre offered. I gave it to him and without any worries he opened it. "Here you go young lady."
I giggled "Thanks Tre!" and without another word I take my first sip which was like the neck of the bottle and a little past that. I saw Tre who looked like he'd seen a ghost or something. His first sip was tiny compared to mine. Tre was out beat by me! I feel so proud!
"You sure like your Beer sweetie"
"That I do!" I gulped down another swig of my VB.
Craig looked over at us and glared at Tre followed by a 'hmmph.' He wasn't too impressed. I wonder if he saw our little kiss?
I got up off of Tre sculling down the rest of my beer.
"Mandy can you join me for a minute? Shouldn't take too long."
"Okay" she said a little glum and gave Billie a little hug handing him her beer.
We walked out the door leaving our 'Men' behind.
As soon as we got out we went to the bathroom.
"Well you kissed him yet?" I asked Mandy as we stepped inside the ladies bathroom. She slump her head, "No, not yet... he is so cute though. I think he tried to kiss me but I kind of got scared and backed away... " she slumped her head even more with shame.
"Hey don't worry. He likes you a lot!"
"How do you know that?"
"Uh... "
"Mmm?"
"Ummm"
"He told you didn't he?"
I nodded "Maybe!" with a smile that gave away my cover.
"I knew it! When did he tell you?"
"Over the phone this arvo when he called Tre's phone... He knows I like Tre too... "
"Well duh girl it is obvious that you like him! I saw you kiss him!" Mandy basically squealed in my ear.
I patted my best friend on the back. "Yes we confessed to one another we like each other! You happy you know now?"
Mandy's lit up and she started to jump up and down on the spot... in the bathroom. "Oh My God! Are you serious? He likes you? This is great! Now we got to get Billie Joe to like me and then we can move in with them... ."
"Woah Mandy calm down, I already told you that Billie Joe really likes you a lot and he told me that he wants to get to know you a lot better."
"Really?"
"Really Really!"
"I love him!" she gushed and screamed. Eh, gotta love her when she does that but I must admit I have done that when I liked a guy in the past.
Then the subject changed from her screaming over Billie Joe to me... "So... what did you two while you were out... .ALONE?"
I began to giggle and I think I blushed. "Eh you know the random things you do with a guy... " I trailed off, "I'll be right back" and I headed to one of the toilet cubicles. I was now in and locked the door as I sat on the toilet doing nothing wasting my time and humming to myself. There was a sudden knock at my door.
"Yes?" I asked the person knowing it was Mandy.
"Kristie... ." She paused. "What kind of stuff did you guys do while you were out? Sex in the public toilets?"
I was now laughing my ass off on the toilet seat.
"Hell no. Okay well I will tell you but you got to promise not to laugh"
"Go on" she egged me on.
"Well... .umm... no I cant say. Its too embarrassing."
"Pretty please?"
"Oh okay, what the hell. He took me into that Adult place...did I mention he swung me over his shoulder?"
There was an erupt of laughter heard from behind the door, "He... took you... to that... place you hate?"
I opened the door and stepped out towards her laughing. "Yes laugh all you want but he bought me a drum kit" I said pleasantly and saw her mouth drop a little. "He did what?" she gasped.
"He bought me a drum kit!" I said again with a serious face.
"No way!"
"Yes way!"
Still stunned Mandy looked at me up and down. "Your serious?"
I laughed, "of course I am serious!"
"OH MY GOD! This is awesome! I wish Billie could do something like that for me... "
Mandy pulls me in for a hug. Suddenly someone comes up and scares the shit out of us. They tapped me on the back of my left shoulder. I turn to see Chodoboy in the girls bathroom. Okay... lets get this right... Chodoboy also known as Matthew is gay right? But he is not a she! Why the hell is in the girls bathroom then?
"Hello girls!" he said gaily.
"Hi Matt. What you doing in the girls bathroom?" I respond with a confused look on my face.
"Doing my little girls business... You know what a girls gotta do, a girls gotta do!" he squealed. "So what we gossiping about? I love gossip!"
I smirked. "Boys!"
"Really? Can I join in? Please? What boys we talking about?"
Mandy smiled, "Billie Joe and Tre!"
"Oooo really so what about them? They are so hot I know. You kissed them yet?"
I nod a 'yes.' "Yes Tre and I did!"
"Oh Kristie you are so lucky! What about you Mandy?"
Mandy shook her head in disappointment.
"But he likes her... " I cut in. "He told me over the phone, so now we got to get them to hook up." This brought a smile to Mandy's face.
"Well what we waiting for?" exclaimed Chodoboy. "Lets go get you that sexy hunk."
Mandy and I stared at Chodoboy and laughed our asses off.
"Come on Mr Chodo. Lets go back to them."
We stagger out of the bathroom together and make our way back to the HOT30 room.
Billie Joe and Tre look at us as we clamber into the room. Mandy and I walk over to them casually and sit on their laps. I cuddle up to Tre as he wraps his arms around my waist once again snuggling his nose into my hair. Next to us, Mandy is nearly as tall as Billie Joe and almost squishes him but he has firm hold of her. I chuckle a little as the small man shifts under her weight. It must be tough been a small person.
Chodoboy sits next to Craig where they discuss some issues about the show.
Craig calls over to us, "Hey guys we start the show in like 5 minutes, where is Mike?"
Mandy and Billie Joe are too involved in each other... or are they so Tre speaks up from behind me.
"I'll give him a call if you like and find out where he is for you" Tre offers. Craig nods, "Thanks!" And then returns his attention back to Chodoboy, "And where is Yoyo?"
I forgot about Yoyo. Yoyo takes phone calls and things for the show. She is like Lowie's back up person if you will. So where is she? And where is Mike?
"Where are you two going? I'd like to see Identification please."
