Baby-sitting for Green Day!, chapter 7

"Oh my god, look how many people there are, trying to get into the movie theatre!" Joey said when we got closer to the theatre.
"Uhh, aren't you worried about the-"
"Press? Nah, screw them. They probably won't be here anyway, this late at night." Billie Joe said.
"Yea, you're probably right." We pulled up to the curb, and Billie Joe paid the cab driver. We all got out and tried to get into the movie theatre before the crown ate us all up. We went straight to the ticket booth.
"Hey, uh, 3 for The Hills Have Eyes, please." I stood there next to Joey, as Billie Joe paid the woman for the tickets. For a second, Joey and my eyes met, but I turned away quickly. I wonder if the movie was going to be really scary... I don't really like scary movies and I would have said something, but I was with two of the coolest people ever. I think you understand.
Billie Joe got himself some popcorn and asked if we wanted anything, but we didn't. We just wanted to see the movie. Or at least Joey did.
We got to the room where our movie was playing. We sat right in the middle of the rows. Billie Joe slid in first, then Joey, then me. We could both hear Billie Joe chewing his popcorn, but it wasn't that annoying. Joey and I just laughed. Even though Joey was 11, I think I was starting to like him. JUST a little. But I don't think that he likes me back. O well, we'll see. The movie was starting now. The boring previews were always the same as usual.
About 15 minutes into the movie, it was getting really, really scary. I started to squeeze the armrest. After a bit, I started to relax. I took my arms off the armrest and put them in my sweater sleeves.
At one point the movie got really scary again and I screamed. I quickly put my hand over my mouth to quiet myself, and Billie Joe and Joey just looked at me, and then continued to watch the movie. After like, 2 minutes I still had my hand on my mouth so I put them back on the arm rest, cuz my arms needed a rest. When I put my hand down, I realized I touched Joey's hand. Oops! "Sorry!" I told him.
"It's fine." At least he wasn't mad or anything. Stupid me. I wondered if he would tell Billie Joe. Oh well, back to the movie.
Wow. When the movie was done, I didn't think I would be able to sleep that night. That was very scary. "How did you like the movie, guys?" Billie Joe asked.
"It was awesome. And scary too!" Joey said.
"That was really scary. And creepy." I said.
"Ha-ha, you screamed!" Joey teased.
"Shut up. It was scary, what do you expect?" Billie Joe just laughed.
"So do you need to go home now?" asked Billie Joe.
"Sadly, yes. I told my mom that I would be home after the movie ended."
"Cool. Do you want us to go with you?" asked Billie Joe.
"Sure, that would be nice. If you want to though... "
"Yea, no problem." Billie Joe said.
"It's fine with me." Joey smiled as he said that. Maybe he did like me, but I really couldn't tell. I mean I just met him tonight and all.
We got into another cab. This time I got in first, then Joey and then Billie Joe. "25th and 3rd please." I told the driver.
"No problem." he said. He had the radio on this old rock station. I was so tired and completely out of it. I realized, though, that Brain Stew came on. Forgetting I was in the cab with Billie Joe, I go, "Oh! I love this song!" Billie Joe laughed, again, nodding his head. Oopsie! Oh well.
We soon pulled up in front of my apartment building. Billie Joe paid the driver and we all got out. "Thank you so much for dropping me off. I really appreciate it."
"Uh, no problem. Is your mom home?" Why did he want to know if my mom was home?
"Yea, why? Did you want to come up?" Oh god, what if he did?
"Well, know that you mention it, could we?" what if there is something embarrassing of me or its messy or oh my god, Billie Joe and Joey are coming to my house! AHH!
"Uhh.... Sure, I guess. My mom wouldn't mind. Erm... let me just call her to tell her."
"Okay, take your time." I started to quickly dial my house number as we were entering my building.
"Hello?" answered my mom.
"Hey, were in front, uh... could Billie Joe and Joey come up for a couple minutes?"
"Yea, try to take as long as possible, cuz if they come up ill try to clean up a bit and change." Ha-ha, my mom was freaking out too, cuz they were coming up. I could just picture her, running around the living room, trying to shove things in a corner. I started to walk to the elevator. They followed me.
We all got in and I pressed 9. It was quiet in the elevator. I walked very slowly when we got out, hoping they would walk slowly too. We, eventually, reached the end of the hall. We were all standing in front of my door. I rang the bell. After 10 seconds of waiting, there was my mom at the door. "Oh! Hi! Come in!" we all just waltzed in. Our apartment looked amazingly clean.
"Hey, I'm Billie Joe and this is Joey." My mom looked at Joey.
"Nice to meet you both. Can I get you anything? Water or-"
"No were fine. I just thought maybe we could get to talk about things a little bit." Why at like, 12 at night? What ever. I turned to Joey while my mom and Billie Joe were talking. "Want to see my room?"
"Sure... you sure you want me in there?" I just cleaned my room and he is the first person to go in it after is all neat. Of course he could come in. Soon, we were both in the room, and I closed the door behind us.
