'Cause Now I Know It's All That I Wanted, chapter 3
She quickly kicked off the sheets and walked out of the room.
"BILLIE?!" She called out, there was no answer. "Great.. Just great...he fucking left me." She paced the hallway. "I need a smoke..." She went into her room again and got a cigarette and a lighter.
She walked down the stairs, she looked into the lounge room. No sign of him there, into the kitchen...no sign of him.
She open her back door and went out onto the porch, she put the cigarette in her mouth and lit it up.
"Good morning," She turned to the persons voice. BILLIE! He was sitting on the bench smoking. She laughed.
"I thought you left me." She said looking at him. He smiled and let out a chuckle.
"No way would I leave you...never...just sometimes for a smoke," She sat down next to him.
"If you do leave me I will kill you." He laughed and put his arm around her shoulder. She sunk into him. They both looked out to the grey sky.
"There is never a day where it's sunny...is there?" She asked. He took the last drag of the smoke and threw the butt away.
" No...but I love the rain, rather rain than sun," He said putting his other arm around her, bringing her closer to him. Her cheek rested on his. She took a drag of her cigarette.
They stayed in a comfortable silence for a few minutes, just holding each other.
Danielle threw away the butt.
"I love you hair...black," She laughed, he gently kissed the top of her head and let out a chuckle.
"If you're about to call me 'emo' I will get angry...I ain't emo..." He laughed. She looked up at him and rolled her eyes.
"Sure you're not...you just wear a lot of black..." She giggled. He gently kissed her lips.
"Black is more slimming..." He joked, she laughed and turned to look out to her back yard.
"The last time I saw you your hair was blue...I miss the blue...dye it blue." She said.
"I'll do it just for you," She laughed at what he said.
"That rhymes," He chuckled. "SEE...I am a good song writer."
The both laughed and then they stopped by the sound of the rain pelting down on the tin roof above them.
"I have to go see Adrienne today..." He broke the silence. She sighed.
"Okay." She said rubbing his arm.
"Can you come with me?" She smiled.
"I always will." He kissed her cheek, softly. She shivered, it was amazing how she could still feel the same way about him as she did when she first kissed him.
"You wanna go now?" He asked, he started to feel nervous.
She got out of his touch and took his hand.
"It's okay Billie..." She got feeling that he was nervous. He got up.

Billie knocked on Adrienne's front door. They heard footsteps then the door opened.
"Hey dad!" Joey yelled and hugged Billie tightly around the waist.
"Hey...I brought Danni," Joey looked up to Danni.
He quickly let go of Billie.
"Hey..." He turned and walked away.
"Hey! Joey...what's up?" Billie said as he walked in and picked up Joey. Jacob saw Billie and quickly stopped watching TV and ran over to him.
Danielle stayed outside. She knew that his kids were not happy with what was going on.
"Dad? How could you do that to mom?" Joey whispered into his ear. Billie sighed and put him down.
"Can you guys sit on the couch for a sec, I'll be there." Billie walked outside to Danielle and found her nervously bitting her nails.
"Come in...don't worry...I'll explain." He took her by the hand and led her inside to the couch. Joey and Jacob were sitting there quietly.
She sat down next to Jacob.
"How could you do that to my mom?!" Jacob yelled at her.
"HEY! What are you talking about? She didn't do anything." Billie said.
"Mom told us that Danni made you and mom not be our parents anymore," Joey said.
"Where is mom?" Billie asked as he looked at Joey and Jacob, Danielle sat there and didn't say anything.
"She's in her room." Jacob said as he moved away from Danielle. Billie stormed up the stairs to Adrienne.
"Look guys, I didn't do anything to dad and mom. They just don't want to be with each other...that won't change anything with you guys and dad..." She said, both of them looked at her.
"I s'pose that's okay." Joey said softly.
"But what will happen?" Jacob said still keeping his distance from her.
"Your dad is coming to stay with me. He'll come and see you guys all the time and you can come over my house any time you like...and we can cook those veggies we planted." Their frowns turned to smiles.
"Really?!" Jacob said excitedly.
"Yep...any time you like," Both of them had big smiles on their faces.
"Great...thanks Danni. I told you everything will be okay Jacob."
Billie came storming down the stairs. He looked at Danielle and his kids playing a game on the play station.
"You cheated!" Danielle said pretending to cry. Both Jacob and Joey were in fits of laughter.
Billie's frustration left when he watched them. He knew from then everything would be just fine.
"Hey guys," Billie said sitting down on the floor next to Danielle.
"Billie they cheated!" She cried. He laughed and so did the boys.
"They didn't cheat. It's because you suck," Billie teased, she stopped the acted and playfully hit him. "Okay, you don't suck," He laughed.
"That's better..." She laughed. Joey came over to her and hugged her. Jacob came over and did the same.
"Stacks on!" Then when Billie came they all fell to the ground.
"I can't breath..." Danielle said laughing. They got off her. "Tricked ya!" She laughed.
"I think we have to go now." Billie said stopping the laughter.
"Ohh do you have to?" Joey said as he sat up on the couch.
"Can we come? Please!" Jacob said giving Billie puppy dog eyes, Danielle could see where he got that from. Billie stood up and then helped up Danielle.
"I promise you can come over tomorrow. Today I have to get my stuff from here and..." He didn't know what to say next.
"Come and stay with me...but you WILL come over and stay for as long as you both like...okay?"
"Okay!" They both said. Billie went over and hugged them both.
"I love you guys...don't forget it." He let go of him and Danielle hugged them both.

Billie had packed up his stuff and they both said good bye to Joey and Jacob.
"Do you wanna go to the beach?" Billie asked taking his eyes off the road for a second and looking at Danielle.
"Yes...it will be a long time since we have been there together." Billie put his eyes back on the road. They drove to the beach.
It was still raining but that never stopped them from going to the beach. Or anywhere for that matter.
They both walked down onto the wet sand.
Danielle sat down and Billie followed. He wrapped his arm around.
"What did you say to Adrienne?" Danielle asked looking into his eyes.
"I said that I wanted to be with her..."
