Wake Me Up When The Handbells End!, chapter 3
"Lisa," said Billie Joe.
"Yes," said Lisa, grabbing a blueberry muffin off the side.
"Are you feeling alright?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"You seem to be eating a lot lately."
"Really. Do you think I'm getting fat?"
"You'll always look gorgeous to me."
"So that's a yes then."
"Did say that."
"I'll go see the doctor; I've been feeling a bit off lately."
"Ok, when do you wanna go?"
"I can go on my own you know, I'm not completely retarded."
"You sure about that?"
"Oh ha ha. I'll see ya later." Lisa bent down and gave Billie a kiss on the cheek, grabbed her car keys and left.
*At the doctors*
"You have to be kidding me," said Lisa jumping off the bed from where she had been sitting
"I can assure you, you are pregnant. The tests are very conclusive," said the doctor.
"Well the tests are wrong."
"I can assure you, the tests are never wrong."
"Well thanks for all your help," Lisa said, walking out the door before she got into a fight. "What's Billie gonna say?" she muttered to herself.
"What's Billie gonna say about what?" asked a voice behind her. Lisa spun round, hand on her heart and then saw it was Tre.
"Jesus Christ Tre, give me a heart attack why don't ya?" said Lisa.
"Sorry. But you still haven't answered my question."
"I'm pregnant."
"Holy crap."
"You're telling me. This is all so fucked up," Lisa said, starting to cry.
"Don't worry," said Tre, pulling Lisa into a hug. "Billie wont be mad, he'll be fine about it. Come on, I'll drive you home. Do you have your car by the way?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"I don't have mine so I'll drive you rest, okay?"
"Yeah. Thanks Tre, you're a great friend."
*Back at home*
"Hey, I'm back," shouted Lisa, shutting the door behind her and Tre.
"Hey," said Billie, coming into the hallway. "Oh hey Tre."
"I found him at the doctors."
"So what did the doctor say?"
"Oh, it's just that time of the month," Lisa said. Tre gave her a funny look. "I'm gonna lie down, I've got a headache."
"Okay," said Billie. "I need to go get something I ordered from that shop. I'll be back soon."
"Okay, bye," Lisa said as Billie walked out the door. When the door was shut, Tre gave Lisa a look.
"That time of the month, yeah right."
"I just didn't fell like telling him, that's all. I'll do it later," Lisa said walking up the stairs and into her room, shouting the door.
"Yeah right," said Tre, muttering to himself.
"Yes," said Lisa, grabbing a blueberry muffin off the side.
