In The Air, chapter 1
<p>It startd on the Wednesday. Something had been 'in the air' for a while but this day was the day it all happened. It was an ok day in the sense that the weather was fine and everyone else seemed to be happy. Claire, Sarah and Billie were outside and Tre was watering the plants. Mike was also feeling weird , was sitting in the porchway with a beer. He was looking a bit perplexed and was a bit restless.</p>
<p>"Hey you." I said. Mike looked up. <br />"Hey."he said. You could tell that something was bothering him. His eyes were puffy and his cheeks shone with left over tears not wiped away.<br /> " What you up to?" He asked. <br />I said, " Just mooching." Mike then got up and i could see his face was building up for a fall. His eyes got those tears in again and he didn't want me to see so he walked away. It made me sad to see him cry. Even though he though I didn't, I did. It reminded me when my Sis died when I was 10. I was heartbroken and nothing stopped me crying. </p>
<p>Well as Mike had gone, I decided to try and smile, even though I was dying inside. I went to talk to Tre who was, well would you believ it, planting flowers. <br ?>"OI!" I shouted at him and mad him jump. <br />"You bitch!" he said jokingly and chased me round the garden with a pair of pinking sheers. While he was running, his pants 'accidently' fell down to reveal his pink panties! I stared for a second disbelieving what I was seeing then burst out laughing.<br /> " You wear womens' underwear. You gay bastard!" I said. Tre flashed his arse and stood on the wall and peed on me.<br /> " EEEWWWWW. That's really not a nice thing Tre." I said.<br /> He laughed putting himself away and said, " Well, I needeed the loo and I wasn't gonna go half a mile away to it when I can pee right here!!" </p>
<p>By this time Mike had come back to the prochway while Billie was still with Sarah and Claire. He beckoned me inside and I went.<br ?> He said " I love you Bekki. Just remember that." <br />I replied " Huh? Why are you telling me this, I already know?" He just looked with those sad painful eyes. He walked away and repeated, "Don't forget." I was confused and bewildered.<br ?> "Hmmmmm, I thought, 'what's going on?'"</p>
<p>Well Little did I know that thy were all hiding a terrible secret from me.</p>
