I watched her walk away. I don't run after her. That would make me as bad as Jessie. Not on my wedding day. My best friend Pete wentz stands beside me.
"She doesn't get it Pete!" I whispered. He pats me on the back.
Mom is running towards me. She squeezes me tight.
"Your way to good for her. She`s so la de daa! Your so la de don't!" She starts snorting with laughter. Jessie's family look so proud of her. Why? She's just made her self look like a slut. I look for Brenden. He's standing with Pete.
Everyone's starting to go home. I have my tie in my hand and fell exhausted
I need a walk.
I don't go far. I sit on the in the bushes outside Juliets house. A lights on in her room. I look in, Oh my god. She's getting changed. I turn away quickly. She should close the curtains. I look back round. I cant help looking.
"Pervert!" I fall of the wall in the bushes. I look up to see who has said it.
Its 13 year old Joey Armstrong.
"I wasn't, I mean i,"
"You're a guy you cant help it! I mean I do it to your mom all the time!" He laughs.
I cringe.
"Hey aren't you getting married today, not peeving on Juliet?" He asks.
"Yeah. I cant marry Jessie! She's a bit of a..."
"Whore! Yeah I know!"
"I was gonna say person that only takes but ok. Thats fare I guess." I say.
"Ok well... Don't stay out here! Come in!" He says.
"Will your parents mind?" I ask.
"Well there in Tokyo and Tré is babysitting so I guess not!"
We go in the house and 10 year old Jakob is running around randomly
"TRE! Have you gave Jakob... Anything?" Joey asks. You can hardly move from the mess. Its usually very clean. When Billie and Adrienne are around.
"Ermmmm... Cant remember!" He shouts from upstairs.
I hear a scream. I ear piercing scream. Juliet comes running down stairs.
"When did we get a monkey?" Shes holding a monkey by its tale.
"Ahhhh Dookie there you are!" He picks up the monkey and they both run of.
"Hi!" I say to Juliet.
"Hi. You look... Awful!" She laughs." You wanna get cleaned up?" She's asks me.
"No its ok, I just came to see you!"
"Yeah! He had a pretty good view of you from your window!" Joey giggles.
"What?" Juliet asks.
"I... I wasn't. I just noticed!" I stutter.
"Thats ok!" She sighed. Something is wrong!
"You ok?" She sighs and takes my arm. She leads me to her room.
I sit on her bed. I feel kind of uncomfortable. She sits next to me.
"So whats up?" Why did you walk of today so early?" I ask.
"You.. Don't like me! Well not how I like you!"
"What! I.." I stop and think. Its supposed to be my wedding day. I cant tell another girl I love her.
"I love you!" SHIT! She goes purple. Word vomit!
"You..." She bursts out in tears. What have I done? I put my arm on her arm.
She's wearing a big baggy jumper. Her arms are so thin. She's so skinny.
"What is it!" I put my arm round her. I feel like I could snap her she's so thin.
"I'm ill Harry!" I guessed!
"Whats wrong with you? Are you ok?"
"I'm anorexic! I cant eat without throwing up, I can only drink alcohol and coffee because there the only things that stop me from puking." She lies down on her bed and suddenly stops crying. I lean over her. Whats wrong? I think she's having some sort of attack.
"Are you ok? Juliet! Answer me!" I scream at her in fright. I help her sit up.
"I cant cry without struggling to breath. There's not enough water in my body."
She leans her head on me.
"I cant even cry!" She's trying to stop herself from crying. I kiss her forehead.
"Its ok. Everything will be fine. Do your parents know?" I ask.
"No one does. There never home."
She's starting to fall to sleep. I lay her down and cover her with a blanket.
She's gagging for breath in her sleep. I better watch her for a bit. I keep my hand on her pulse to make sure her heart beats normal. I have my phone in my hand,
Its gonna be a long night!
