The Crazy Life of Green Day's kids (life in Joey, Jakob, Frankito, Estelle, and Ramona's life), chapter 1

************ JOEY *************

Every day it's the same, I wake up, clean up, eat breakfast, say hey to mom and dad (if he is home), and then go to school. School isn't do great for me. I either have friends that only play with me because I am Billie Joe's son and they want to meet Green Day, or they pick on me because I hardly have a dad. The ones wo pick on me think that if they are really mean I will bring them to meet Green Day so they will stop picking on me. But that will never happen.

One day, it wasn't the same. Dad was home. I thought he was going to back in a week. I droped my backpack and ran up to give him a hug. He was holding a movie, the movie was titled "Green Day: Bullet in a Bible.

"Joey, your mother and I have a surprise for you", My dad said," It's our (Green Day's) first ever movie, Bullet in a Bible."

"Cool, it must be awsome I can't wait, plug it in, plug it in!" I loved watching movies, especially meaningfull movies.

Dad plugged the film in and we started watching. It was awsome. With all the concerts, explicit content, fowl language that a 10 year old like me shouldn't be hearing but who gives a damn, and all the familiar faces. Tre', Mike, Jason W., Jason F., and of course Dad.

I was really dissapointed when the movie was over. I couldn't wait till the next day at school, I would tell everyone about Bullet in a BIble. For once I really learned to apreciate dad. Don't get me wrong I always loved my dad, but that's when I really started to appreciate what does for nor only his fans, but us, his family.

When I went to bed, I fell asleep to good thoughts. And the next day I wouldn't give a damn to what any of my friends or enemys had to say. I was a happy kid and I was ready to tell the world.

The next day at school, I was sent to the principlas office for talking about explicit content adn everything, but that was ok. My parents didn't mind that much. My dad just said "Principals and teachers are fucking jokes! They are protecting kids by not letting them cuss or talk about explicit content. Well, they aren't. They need to get the kid ready for the real world, just don't do it again Joey." I laughed when mom gave him the look that he wasn't acting like the responsible adult around the house.
