Back In Nobel High, chapter 2
"Ummm...what was that?" Lib asked.
"A thank you kiss." Billie replied.
"Oh...so you do know what you just did." LIb answered.
Billie smiled and walked into the living room.
"Hey dude...wow she did a good job." Mike said...actually impressed.
"Yeh she could be a nurse...nurse Lib...oh nurse me oh nursely one!" Tre laughed.
"Shut up!" Lib laughed along but she was still confused what had just happened between her and Billie...'what the fuck just happened there' were the words spinning in her head. Did he like her more then just a mate? They had only just met for god's sake!
"So you guys are a band?" Lib asked.
"Yeh...we're not famous though." Mike replied.
"Not yet." Tre replied smiling cheesily.
"Ummm...guys i think im gonna call it a day...is that ok?" Lib asked.
"No YOU have to hang out with us!" Mike joked.
Jesus he had a great smile Lib thought to herself.
The guys did a big group hug and Mike gave her a small peck on the cheek and left.
Lib went to bed that night smiling. She had hoped to get a good nights sleep.
The next morning Lib woke up, got dressed quickly in the usual black converse, jeans and some t-shirt, ate her breakfast and headed off to school with her brother Rob.
"What are you smiling about?" Rob asked in the car.
"Oh nothing much...i guess life is turning out for me for once."
"Oh? What happened...got a crush on one of your mates eh?"
"NO! Shut up Rob! As if! How could you say that!"
She blushed and turned to look out of the window.
As she was looking out the window she spotted Mike and Tre walking.
"Rob can you pull over please?"
"Sure." he replied.
She ran up to Tre and Mike and gave em' a big hug!
"Hey guys!"
"Hey Libby!!!" Mike smiled.
"Hellllllllllooo nurse...i have a head-ache...i think its from Libsvoicesydrome!" Tre laughed.
"Shut up...your such a willy!" Lib laughed.
As they were walking Lib decided to tell Mike and Tre about what happened with Billie as she was still quite confused about it all.
"I didn't see it coming! How come he doesn't walk with you guys anyway?"
"Ahhh...don't worry about...im sure he just meant it as a thank you." Mike said looking kind of worried.
He liked this girl...was Billie gonna stand in the way?
"Um...he wasn't at his house this morning so he didn't come with us...plus we're walking cause our parents can't be fucked driving us...actually they can't be fucked with anything to do with us." Tre remarked.
"I don't think my mum cares about me either." Lib said.
They walked on...Lib and Tre were talking while Mike still had the Billie thing worrying him on his mind.
A few hours later Mike was sitting with Tre and Billie at their favorite spot of the school. Mike decided to come straight out with it trying to not reveal his feelings for Lib.
"You got the hots for Lib Bill?" Mike asked.
"Ummmm...no...i don't know...i don't think so...nah." Billie replied.
"Oh ok..." Mike replied extremely relieved.
"She told you about the kiss then?" Billie asked.
"Yeh." Mike said.
"I only meant it as a thank you...i think." Billie replied.
Tre was grinning.
"What is it?" Mike asked.
"The real question her Mike, my dear friend, is...drum roll please...have YOU got the hots for Lib?"
"NO! God...she's hot but we're only mates." Mike replied rather uneasily.
"hahaha...ok" Billie and Tre laughed.
"Bell went ages ago...we better skip over to class..." Tre remarked.
A few weeks later, after school one night Billie invited Lib and the boys over to his place for drinks. They had become very close friends. Mike and Lib became extremely close especially.
Lib loved VB.
"It's the king of beers........at least thats what I've been told.....by the televison." Mike laughed.
'God he had a nice laugh' Lib thought!
After quite some time...Everyone was pissed.
"Lib...you're a hot babe." Mike said, walking over to her unsteadily.
"Fuck...thank you mike you're a stud muffin!" Lib laughed.
Everyone was laughing and joking around.
That's when it suddenly happened.
As Mike was sitting down, Lib walked over and sat next to him, leaned over and began passionately kissing him.
Her hands went up and down his back and Mike was all up in Libs long hair.
"Maybe it's the beer talking but...i like you Lib...i like you a lot." Mike said.
Lib smiled.
"I like you a lot too Mr Dirnt."
"Lib...??"
"Yes?"
"Will you go out with me?" Mike asked a bit red in the face.
Lib kissed him on the lips again and said "Take that as a yes."
That's when Billie and Tre turned around shocked at what just had happened.
"Fuck." Billie said.
Tre looked at him confused.
They had a few more beers and in the morning everyone had a massive hangover.
Mike still remembered what had happened the other night though.
