Back In Nobel High, chapter 6
That week Lib and Mike were the best of friends, always laughing and joking around. That night they had scored a detention in maths class together after school.
"Haha... You would think they would think of a better punishment then cleaning tables." Lib laughed.
"I hate cleaning up my art work. See that skeleton coming out of the closet over there? I did that!"
"It looks awesome Mike! Don't clean it... It's not like they really check anyway... Well... They only check the first table and that's at the back so don't touch it... Every time I come into this class room and sit there I shall think of the one and only MIKE DIRNT." Lib laughed.
"Hehehe... Your a fool sometimes you know that?"
"And your quite the gentlemen?"
Lib and Mike started laughing and eventually... Wrestling. Lib bit Mike in the arm.
"DID YOU JUST BITE ME? HAHAHA!"
"Yes." Lib grinned.
Mike was on top of Lib and she began staring into his blue eyes, as he did into her green eyes. Mike leaned forward and they began kissing.
Very soon after Lib pulled away.
"Mike... That was... Wrong! It shouldn't have happened." Lib was very confused now.
Mike didn't know what to say. He just walked out of the room with-out a word, leaving Lib to feel terrible.
Mike'sPOV
'It was wrong! My fucking god! ' Mike thought. He wasn't happy at all. He just managed to kiss the girl he felt he was in love with and she thought it was wrong! She did have a boyfriend. She was right it shouldn't have happened but how the fuck could she say it was wrong! Mike was extremely upset at what had just happened, but he knew he shouldn't have kissed her. Lib was hanging on though and only after a while pulled away. Had she felt something as well?
Libs POV
Lib felt awful... She didn't mean to say it was wrong. It wasn't it just shouldn't have happened. She was with Billie. Lib felt she had to tell Billie because she just couldn't lie to him about something as big as this.
"Billie? Please say something!"
"What's to say? You kissed Mike. Hmmmm... What do you want me to ask? If he's a good kisser maybe?"
"BILLIE! I told you... I didn't tell you so I could hurt you! I just don't want to lie to you! Please just... Can we work this out?"
"What-ever." Billie walked out of the room.
Billie's POV
Billie went to a party that night and got extremely drunk. He didn't know what else to do with himself after finding out what had happened.
Some random girl came up to Billie and began to kiss his neck and move on to his lips. Eventually they went to a room upstairs.
Tre's POV
*ring ring*
"Hello?" said a crying girls voice.
"Lib?"
"Tre?"
"Yeh."
"Yeh... Why are you crying?"
"Long story."
"I have time."
"Don't worry... Why'd you call?"
"I was wondering if you would wanna come to a party tonight with Mike and me?"
"Yeh... Why not... I don't have anything better to do with myself."
"Are you sure your alright?"
"No."
"Ok... We'll be over in a sec."
"See ya!"
Tre hung up the phone.
"Was she crying?" asked Mike.
"Shut up Mike... And spill." Tre replied.
Mike explained to Tre what had happened and how Billie rang him to tell him he knew everything.
"Wow... That's fucked." said Tre.
"I know."
"I'm glad she still wants to be friends with you man. In movies those blonde chicks wouldn't wanna look at your face again and they're the ones that are SLUTS!"
"You watch too much TV."
"Thank you... Now let's go."
They drove over to Lib's house and knocked on the door.
Lib's POV
Lib had her eye liner smudged everywhere. She quickly cleaned it off and tried to stop herself from crying. The doorbell rang.
Lib opened the door and flew into Mike's arms.
"I'm so sorry." she babbled in his shoulder.
"It's ok... Its not your fault... Now let's go have some fun."
Lib loved how Mike could make any bad situation seem alright.
They walked into the house, grabbed some beers, and decided to check out the house and all its rooms.
Tre and Mike knocked on a door that was closed. They couldn't hear anything as the music down stairs was really loud.
"It's clear." Mike said.
Lib opened the door.
She was shocked.
Lib could not believe what she was seeing.
There in front of Tre's, Mike's and Lib's eyes was a naked Billie Joe, staring right back with a blonde girl hanging off him.
Lib could see that he was drunk but that certainly didn't excuse what he had just done.
"Hi Libby... Look I can explain." Billie said groggily.
"Save it. It's over."
"Can we keep going?" asked the random blonde in the bed.
Lib was furious at that. She walked in and couldn't believe that the blonde she was staring at was a sober girl named Hannah she had gone to school with in her old town. Not only was she almost sober, but she was grinning from ear to ear when she saw the look on Lib's face.
Lib punched her straight in the face and the fight began to get nasty. Lib's mouth was bleeding and she had received a black eye instantly not soon after.
Mike couldn't believe his eyes and tried to pull Lib off the girl.
"Fuck her! She's not worth it Lib!" Mike screamed as Lib kicked and kicked.
Tre and Mike drove Lib over to Tre's place in complete silence.
Mike spoke up... When he sat next to Lib on the couch.
"Lib I'm so fucking sorry. I had no idea Billie was going to be there." Mike apologized.
"It's ok. I'm fine. I deserved this."
"NO! NO YOU DIDN'T!" Mike replied.
Mike pulled her into a hug and eventually they fell asleep on the couch while Tre was watching the T. V.
Billie's POV
Billie woke with a massive hangover but when it died down he drove to Lib's place only to find she wasn't there and her family was looking for her as well.
He drove to Tre's place next to find her having a coffee with Mike and listening to Tre's jokes.
"Lib.. Can I please talk to you?" Billie asked.
"What do you want to say? That Mike's a good kisser? I already know he is." Lib replied angrily.
"No. I was drunk. I don't know what I was doing! And the only reason I know what happened is because your brother was at that party and saw what happened with me and that girl and when you walked in! Look I wouldn't want to do anything to hurt you like that. I was so drunk. Please just say you accept my apology."
Lib thought for a while. 'Oh no! What if Rob tells mum! '... Then she though about what Billie had just said.
"Look Billie... No matter how many times you say sorry it isn't going to change what happened. Not what I did... And not what you did. I don't hate you. I could never hate someone I loved so much, but things will never be the same between us. I guess we could be friends? And you three," she stopped and stared at all of them, "I don't want anything to change between you three... Because you have the best friendship. I'll always love you guys for accepting me at the school and accepting me and being my friends!"
"Your getting me all teary." Tre joked.
Everyone laughed.
Lib's POV
"Lib... Can I please speak to you for a moment out side?"
"Sure Mike." Lib smiled.
Billie stared. He felt he knew what was going to happen and he didn't want it to!
"Lib! Libby... I still love you!"
Lib simply looked at him, grabbed Mike's hand and walked outside.
"What is it?" she looked into those blue eyes.
"Your really brave. You know that? Your really fucking brave."
"Thank you." Lib smiled, but did not brake her gaze.
Mike moved in and kissed her gently. Lib smiled.
"I want to be with you Lib. I've wanted to ever since I got to know you."
"Mike... I want to be with you too, but what do you think Billie will do? And what will other people think? They'll think I'm a slut jumping from guy to guy."
"But your not a slut, and fuck what everyone else thinks." Mike kissed her again.

"Let's do this then." she said.
"Lib... Who was your first boyfriend?" Mike asked.
"My first boyfriend was last year. We broke up because I had to move. He turned out to be a bastard anyway. Then Billie happened, and I guess your my third," Lib replied, "i'm really tired. I think i'll go home now."
"I'll walk you." Mike smiled.
Mike and Lib went inside and told Tre and Billie what they had decided. Lib apologized again to Billie. She never said her kiss with Mike didn't mean anything... She just said she didn't want to hurt him.
