Affairs with Billie and Tre, chapter 1
NB this is when Green Day were younger and nobody was married. The first bit is kind of an intro. It does get better.
Lizzie's Point Of View
I was just a normal girl. Why was my life so messed up? I mean okay, some girls would love my position in life. I mean I was Tre Cool's girlfriend. THE Tre Cool. The drummer in the punkest band ever. Tre Cool from Green Day! But why me?
End Of Point Of View
Lizzie lay on her bed in frustration. Sure, she loved Tre and Green Day. Her friends Louise and Stacey thought that she was the luckiest girl alive. And she was. But some things just weren't going right. She never saw Tre anymore and she had heard rumours that he was getting off with girls whilst he was on tour in America. Although he denied it, Lizzie just wasn't sure any longer.She couldn't wait till the Bullet in a Bible tour in England. She wanted to go on tour with him in America and so did Tre but the stupid goddamn tour managers refused. They had argued with the managers and they still would not give in. It was ruining their relationship. Lizzie felt she couldn't trust Tre anymore.
"All right England!" Billie Joe screamed into the mic. They launched into American Idiot and the crowd was WILD!! Mike concentrated hard on hitting the right notes. this would be their ticket to success in England. At the end of the song, the guys looked up and searched the crowds. At the wings were Lizzie, Adrienne and Anastasia. The boys smiled and it brought new life into them. As Billie entertained the crowd, Tre grinned at Lizzie. She smiled cheekily back! They felt at home here. After a couple more songs, a support band from the US came on and Green Day ran off promising more. Mike headed straight for the coffee with Anastasia and Billie and Adrienne were sitting down on the couch. Tre and Lizzie kissed and everyone yelled at them to get a room. Tre smiled a devilish smile and told everyone that they had one and they would be putting the furnishings to good use later. Lizzie blushed a bit but laughed with Tre. She knew he wouldn't get off with other girls. He wasn't like that.
"All right guys, you're back on in now." Billie and Mike rushed for their guitars and Tre gripped his stick with determination.
"You go rock that crowd honey," Lizzie called after him. The girls went back to their places and shared stories about what happened since they saw each other. She was in her own life and she liked it.
