Amy's Adventure With Green Day, chapter 11
" And now, " Billie said, " That may not have been completely illegal, but this is!" he said and all three members turned around, their pants still down around their ankles.
I burst out laughing, the band was doing some sort of dance, which involved a lot of butt wiggling, and so, something at the front was wiggling too. The audience went mental, then some hyped up idiot decided to moon the guards, and soon most of the idiot zone had their arses to the guards. Hundreds of white behinds, I watched the big screens, so did the guards in an attempt to ignore the moshers. The camera slid along the back rows, what the guards saw then was no better than the mosh pit, rows and rows of people had their pants down, mooning the guards. I could not stop laughing, I turned to Mason.
" MASON!" I yelled, my brother had his pants down too and was mooning the guards just like the others.
I looked back up to Green Day, they had stopped dancing but were still standing there with their pants down, laughing at the thousands of fans mooning the guards.
" Never underestimate the power of a Green Day crowd!" Billie Joe yelled into the microphone.
Those men have no shame, I thought, and I love them for it.
" And now," Billie Joe said, walking forward, his pants still down around his ankles, he was taking penguin like steps back to the end of the walkway. " Do you still want to arrest us?" he asked the guards. " After you have seen, and heard, what this crowd will do if we, that is including Mason and Amy, get arrested."
The guards looked up at Green Day. I realised that they must have looked so intimidating up there, even though they still had their pants down, seemingly not at all bothered by their privates being out in the open. They actually looked more ummm, how should I say, comfortable.
" Well?" Billie Joe asked, a big smile across his face. Mike and Tre' were standing in the background, laughing.
The guards focused on Billie's face, their faces frowning. I could tell that they did not want a riot to break out, and that they definitely did not want to arrest both Green Day and us. And somehow I knew that Green Day would not let us get arrested without them being so too. The main guard, the one who had attempted to arrest us before, was just standing there, his jaw stiff but his eyes forgiving. I wondered what would happen.
" Pull out!" The guard said and all six of the guards turned and started to walk out of the moshpit. " You were lucky this time." He said to Mason as he walked past. Mason just looked at them.
The crowd cheered, the people were clapping and yelling. But there was one person we had forgotten about, and that very person came walking up to us and slapped Mason across the face.
