A Girl In The House, chapter 7
"Billie Joe, Im not pregnant." I admitted.
"What do you mean your not pregnant?"
I explained to him what the doctor had told me, and that I was sorry I had to put him through this.
Billie Joe was mad, and confused.
"I thought you DIDN'T want to have this baby?" I questioned.
"I didnt, until you explained that having a baby would be the best thing that ever happened to me, and then when I start to become excited about having this baby, you tell me that you are not pregnant, after all." Billie Joe explained.
The next day Billie Joe and the band had to go to a meeting with the press, one of those meetings where they ask you questions, and put the answers in newspapers and magazines.
They just started to ask the band really random questions, and then questions about their newest album (American Idiot). And then THE question came up. One of the reporters got closer to Billie Joe. " Billie Joe Armstong, is it true that your girlfriend, Danielle Hernandez, is now pregnant?" the reporter stood their waiting for a 'yes' from Billie Joe. Billie Joe put his head down and did not respond.
Tre, not knowing the news about me not being pregnant, said: "of course she is, Billie Joe and Danielle are expecting a baby!"
Billie Joe walked out of the room, went down the elevator, and left the building. He was really sad, and he just couldn't take it anymore.
He came home, went into his bedroom, and that was the first time I heard him cry. I went into his room and I talked to him. After that he was feeling as bad. When Tre and Mike got home I explained to them that I wasn't pregnant after all. We were all o.k again. Then, Billie Joe got a call from his mother, she said she was coming into town, and that she was coming over to visit..
