Untitled, chapter 9
*Mike's House*
"Hey Billie and Mike," he said with a smile.
"Hey Tre, why are you happy today?" Mike asked curiously. Billie however, stayed quiet like usual.
"Well since you asked, me and Rain are going on our first date, that's why I'm happy," He replied. "Also, don't you guys follow me and screw this up."
"Okay, why?" Billie asked.
"Well I don't want her to think that everywhere I go I need you guys around okay, just promise me you won't spy on us," Tre pleaded.
"Okay we won't Tre, we promise," both Mike and Billie said. Tre nodded and left, he had a few hours until their date. Rain was with Adie getting ready.
After Tre and Rain were ready they met at the park. Billie and Mike followed them even though they promised not to. Mike was worried about this, they hid in the bushes. Rain was sitting on the swings waiting for Tre. Tre however snuck up behind her quietly, Rain got startled again. She looked at him and he smiled.
"Hey Tre...you look...umm, nice tonight." She blushed.
"Yeah you too, hey I got something for you. I hope you like it." He smiled, pulling out a bouquet of roses. "Close your eyes and I'll give you what I have in my hands." Rain nodded and closed her eyes. Tre pulled out the bouquet. While Billie and Mike watched quietly.
"Okay up your eyes," he spoke.
"Okay Tre." She opened her eyes with amazement when she saw the bouquet of roses. She was speechless and smiled, he smiled back. They were going into a kiss, when Rain had heard something from somewhere. Tre looked around but didn't hear anything. They try to kiss again, then she heard something rustling.
Now Tre was getting a little angry, he got up and looked through the bushes. Then he saw Billie and Mike, both smiled nervously Tre wasn't happy.
"WHAT THE HELL!?" Tre started shouting at them, "you guys promised me, PROMISED!" He yelled again. Rain looked over at Tre and looked away with a saddened look.
"We're sorry Tre, no really we are, we had to see if you were alright," Billie told Tre. Mike however was scared a bit. Tre looked back at Rain, who was kind of sad, holding the roses and looking embarrassed.
"Know what, do me a favor...and leave us alone," Tre said, staring at Billie and Mike. They both nodded and left. Tre sat by Rain again and sighed. Rain had gotten up, thinking about leaving, when Tre followed her.
"Look Rain...I'm sorry for what happened," he spoke.
"It's okay, your friends were just worried about you, but I still love you though."
They had kissed. Tre sighed in relief and took her home, watched her until she got in the house and left. After she put her flowers in a vase, she went to bed.
