Body Guard, chapter 1
"I don't need a body guard!" Billie Joe Armstrong whined.
"Yes you do," his agent resured him.
"No matter how many people love the new album, there are still die hard Americans out there they don't see where you're coming from," he explained further.
"Fine whatever. When do I meet him?" Billie sighed taking a seat and resting his head on his arm.
"Right now," his agent answered after hearing a knock on the office door.
He went to answer it leaving Billie still seated. When the door swung open it reveiled a medium height, woman with long blonde hair pulled back in a low pony tail, she was wearing a women's work suit and black sneakers.
"Mrs. Reese, welcome come it," the agent said.
The woman entered her hands never coming unfolded from behind her back.
"Mrs. Reese this is Billie Joe Armstrong, Billie this is Mrs. Reese, your new body guard," he introduced.
"It's a pleasure sir," Reese said extending her hand.
Without saying a word Billie shook her hand still in shock from the fact that his new body guard was a woman.
"Well I've got a meeting so you two get to know eachother I assume you'll be spending much time together," the agent said before grabbing his suit jacket and exiting the office.
"So Mrs. Reese, do you have a first name?" Billie asked sitting back down in the chair.
"Olivia," she said simply taking a seat in the chair directly opposite him.
"Can I call you Olivia?" Billie asked.
"Yes," she answered again short.
"So tell me about yourself," Billie suggested leaning back in the chair.
"Mr. Armstrong we should be going to have practice in 15 mintues," she said while standing.
"How did you know?" he asked curiously.
"I've been briefed of your schedule," she said firmly while opening the office door.
"Not much of a talker, huh?" he said before walking out of the office.
Once outside in the small black car Oliva drove, he couldn't hold it any longer.
"So your my new body guard? But you're a woman," he said.
"That's correct," she said while keeping her eyes on the road where she was driving.
"I'm just a little confused. I just thought that you would be big and black," he laughed.
"Are you dissappointed sir?" she asked while turning into the studio parking.
"No not at all," Billie said letting his eyes wonder down her v-neck dress top.
They both entered the studio. The first thing Billie noticed was that Mike and Tre also had body guards but they were big and black. He couldn't understand why he had been put with the girl. Not that he was complaing, their agreement was that their body guards would live in their homes until conditions died down.
Their practice went under way and finished in a couple of hours. The whole time Tre and Mike's body guards talked with eachother where as Olivia would randomly go outside the studio door for a smoke. Or she would sit and patiently wait.
"This is it," Billie said as they pulled up in the drive way to his house.
"You have a lovely home sir," Olivia complimented.
"See you need to stop doing that," Billie said pointing a finger at her.
"May I ask what sir?" she asked.
"You keep calling me sir or Mr. Armstrong, why don't you try Billie Joe or Billie?" he suggested.
"Sir, own relationship is professional," she answered and Billie was to tired to press on.
"Here is your room," Billie said directing her to the gueat bedroom.
"Thank you sir," she said, before taking her one small suitcase into the room.
"Are you always this...formal and structured?" he asked standing in the doorway of her room.
"As I said I am a professional," she said while taking off her jacket and draping it over a chair.
He left her at that. Coming back about a half an hour later, he stopped at her door. His jaw dropped and he couldn't stop staring. Olivia was working out in her room down push ups, sit ups, and pull ups on a bar she had brought. She was sweaty and looked flush.
"Can I help you sir?" she asked while lowering herself off of the chin up bar.
"One more question, why are you a body guard?" he asked interested,
"Why are you a rockstar?" she asked with a smile.
Billie understood where she was coming from and just smiled and walked down the hall to his room.
"Yes you do," his agent resured him.
