Body Guard, chapter 2
The next morning Billie Joe woke up to the smell of coffee being brewed from the kitchen. He lazily dragged himself out of bed and made his way into the kitchen where he found Olivia in jogging clothes sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. She must have heard him coming because as soon as he entered the room, she put down the paper and poured him a cup of coffee.
"How are you up this early?" Billie laughed sipping his coffee.
"I made coffee and was waiting for you. I thought we could take a morning jog together so I can get used to the neighborhood," she said.
"Uh...it's like 9am...." he began but once seeing the expression on Olivia's face that didn't seem as if she cared he continued, "so I would love a jog," he finished.
A few moments later Billie had finished his coffee and was exiting the house along side Olivia both in shorts and sneakers. They descended down the street, Billie pointing out random land marks.
"We need...to...slow down..." Billie heaved after jogging for about an hour straight.
"Are you alright sir?" Olivia asked reaching his hunched over form and jogging in place.
"I'd be even better if you stop calling me sir. Please just call me Billie," he pleaded still attempting to catch his breath.
"Alright, Billie. Let's head back," she smiled then jogged back in the direction they came, towards Billie's house.
"Woo I need a shower," Billie said smelling himself as they entered the house.
"I know what you mean," Olivia laughed handing Billie a water bottle.
After taking a couple sips of their water, Billie went to take a shower in the bathroom off of his room and Olivia went to take a shower in the bathroom off of the guest room she was staying in. Olivia emerged from the bathroom dripping wet with a towel around her. She saw through her drawers looking for something to wear. She found a suitable outfit and let the towel drop leaving in only she panties.
Billie had finished his shower as well and after dressing and rubbing his hair dry he had an idea. He walked down the hall towards Olivia's room. Knocking on the door twice before opening it without waiting for answer he found Olivia on the other side with her back facing his she was wearing nothing but her underwear. Billie couldn't stop but stare.
"Billie!" Olivia screamed and grabbed the towel covering herself.
"I was...uh...I'm gonna..." he said before shutting the door and going to wait in the living room.
"
Did you need to speak with me sir- Billie?" Olivia asked.
"Yeah, sorry about that...before..I should really...um...I was wondering if you would like me to show you the downtown area?" Billie asked nervously.
"I would enjoy that," she smiled.
About 20 minutes later Billie and Olivia were walking the downtown street eating ice cream and getting to know eachother better.
"So why did you become a rockstar?" Olivia asked.
"Well, my Dad was a jazz drummer so music was always in my house. And it felt right, it's what I love. Sure I thought about quitting after Adie divorced me and took the boys, but music is all I have now," he explained.
"I'm sorry to hear about your divorce," Olivia sympathized.
"So tell me about you why did you become a big bad body guard," Billie joked.
"After my Dad was killed I made it my mission in life to never let that happen to anyone else. Because I knew whoever they were they were someone's son or husband or father." She told looking down at her feet as she walked.
"So if you don't mind me asking, how did you get all those scars on your back," Billie asked.
"Maybe another time," Olivia said obviously not wanting to answer.
"Alright I understand," Billie said returning to eating his rapidly melting ice cream.
"Hey you two into the alley!" a strangers voice said harshly.
Olivia signalled for them to follow the man with the gun pointed in their faces into the dark alley. Billie looked terrified but Olivia looked as though she knew what she was doing. There were four men, the one in the middle had his arm out streched holding a gun.
"Give me your money, and jewelry," he demanded.
Then without warning Olivia stepped forward and kicked the gun out of the mans hand sending it in some random direction in the alley. With one kick the man who had previously been holding the gun was on the ground knocked out. She then grabbed one of the two left, the fourth man must have run away, and she held him in a head lock pressing on his neck until he passed out as well. The final man still there slammed Olivia into the building wall and pinned her on her back by her shoulders.
"Billie go to the car!" Olivia yelled, throwing him the keys.
Billie caught the keys but was too stunned to move or leave Olivia like this.
"Billie GO!" she screamed but Billie stayed put.
She rolled her eyes annoyed and kneed the man hard in the crouch causing him to fall to his hands and knees where upon she lifted her leg and brought it down hard on his head also knocking him out. Then she looked over at Billie and then her head snapped to another man, the fourth man, standing by a dumpster pointing a gun at Billie.
"NOOOO!" Olivia screamed as she darted in Billie's direction.
She was too late....
