We Will Run Away Together Hand In Hand, chapter 3

"I heard that girls are coming," Tre piped up, "Wonder if they're fit?"
"Jason hasn't seen them since they were three!" Billie said then looked around, noticing that his cell phone wasn't there, "I've just gotta run upstairs." Billie said then left the room

Two or three minutes later while Rebel was playing her guitar still she heard someone stamp up the stairs in a rage. They were muttering something to themselves. Rebel didn't care who it was so she resumed playing her guitar. The stamping continued towards her but then stopped dead, Rebel looked up from her guitar and saw a stressed out Billie Joe Armstrong standing in the doorway.

Billie looked at Rebel, his facial expression softened. Rebel gulped, there standing before her was her idol. Billie Joe smiled at Rebel sheepishly.
"Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt you," he said meaningfully.
"It's ok," she replied, "Is something wrong?" Rebel asked.
"Ah I'm just a bit stressed out. Recording and everything...just gets a bit tense that's all," Billie replied with tears in his eyes. Rebel looked at Billie concernedly and put her guitar down
"Come and sit down, you look like you need to talk," Rebel said knowing Billie needed to talk to someone about something.

Billie closed the bedroom door and sat on the bed with his head in his hands. "Tell me what's wrong."
"I er... I caught Adrienne..." Billie stuttered.
"Caught Adrienne? Caught Adrienne doing what?" Rebel asked confusedly.
"Having it off with Allen," Billie said, "My own brother," he barely whispered.
"I er...oh shit...er I'm really sorry Billie," Rebel said uneasily.
"Yeah...so am I," he whispered then ran his fingers through his long (for a man that is) black hair and sighed, "Sorry, where are my manners, I'm Billie Joe," he said outstretching his hand.
"As if I didn't know...God that sounded so wrong and obsessed." Billie laughed at the comment, Rebel laughed too. "Sorry I'm Rebel," she said shaking Billie's hand.
"Ah so that's your guitar. I hope you don't mind me playing it when you weren't here."
"No of course I don't mind. I know this might sound strange but can you teach me a song?" Rebel asked, "Normally I wouldn't ask but...it's not every day you're in the same room as a rock star."

Downstairs Taylor was starting to get bored so went to look for her bass. She stood up and walked out of the living room. Taylor walked down a hallway and heard someone crying, she followed the sound to the kitchen where Adrienne was sitting at the table alone. Taylor thought it best to leave her to it but she wanted to know if her bass was in the kitchen. So she decided to go into the kitchen towards Adrienne.
"Adrienne?" Taylor asked, Adrienne looked at her with tear stained cheeks and red eyes.
"Er...yeah?" she asked in response, her voice was still ropey.
"Are you alright?" she asked concernedly, noticing her bass wasn't in the room.
"What do you think? Billie Joe hates me Taylor."
"I'm sure he doesn't," Taylor replied sitting down, "How do you know my name?"
"You don't know what I've done."
"It can't be that bad. Surely Adrienne..."
"You call having an affair with my brother-in-law not bad?" Adrienne shrieked with more tears running down her cheeks, "Then again, all you want to do is get Billie Joe in to bed. Nah, that's your sister...the slut that she is."
"You what?!" Taylor shouted, "You don't know anything about me, or my sister as a matter of fact, so what gives you the fucking right to call her a slut?! You know what...I hope Billie Joe does hate you because you deserve it for what you did to him," she said then stormed out of the room.

Taylor stormed her way through the living room, then her mother stopped her. Her grandmother stared a gaping hole into Taylor's eyes. Taylor glared back then realised that she shouldn't be wasting time on some old woman that will most probably make everything worse than it already was.
"Taylor will you and Rebel give up this vendetta against your Grandmother?"
"Maybe when she leaves us alone. Where's my bass?" Taylor asked.
"I don't know, Billie Joe dealt with that," her mother replied.

Taylor excused herself from the room and walked out to the foyer of the house. She looked around and up at the ceiling. There hung a huge crystal chandelier, the one that Billie reportedly swung from and managed to break at one point when he was drunk. Taylor looked around at the glamorous but homely things that existed in the room. Many photos hung from places in the wall. Lights hung in a chain from the ceiling. It all seemed to be a fairytale. This was all something that she could have only dreamed about but there it all was in front of her, just as if she were watching the TV show that had shown this house many months before. She could see Billie Joe walking. Even amongst all the glamour there was a sense of family and the love that exists, or existed in the house. She knew that now Billie Joe had seen Adrienne 'with' his oldest brother things would be a little strained. Not good for Joey and Jakob.
