I slammed down the phone and just sat on my bed. I knew this was coming, I knew it! But why I got back with Craig... iss what I'll never know. He's cheated on me with Beth...AGAIN. Why was I so damn stupid as to take him back?... Maybe it was his gorgeous dark eyes... And his sexy black hair... No, no okay, I've really got to stop! I'm just gonna find myself falling for him again. No, I will not let that happen!
I know what I need! I need to go out to a gig... just to let all my anger out. Right, that's it, I'm calling Jen! My best bestest friend who I know won't let me down!
Ring ring..."Hello?"
"Hey Jen, it's me Amber."
"Oh hey, have you dumped Craig?"

"Well I already know that! Mental help! But if you want someone to go gigging with try Angel or Bex. I can't cause I'm going out with Liam tonight."

"Aww come on Amber! Look I know there is a battle of the bands on tonight at Sammy's Rock World at 6. How about you go there? I heard there are some awesome bands playing."

I phoned Angel and Bex and they are up for it! Yesss!
Half an hour later:
I'm thinking about what I can wear...while playing Green Day, ooh yess! Nothing better! Okay I'm going to wear my hell bunny punk skirt and my black and red corset! Angel told me it's kinda an emo/goth night so I'm going for that look!
I'm also hoping I can pull a guy that looks similar to Billie Joe. Can't get more hottness than that!

Oh shit there's someone at the door! And I've only got my tights half on! Looks like I'll have to hop it!
Hopping down the stairs I go!
Oh god I hope it's not our next door neighbour Francis, he's 18 the same age as me, and he's always perving on me. I once caught him trying to sniff my hair so I kicked him in the down-belows. Hasn't spoken to me since but you can never be too careful!

"Well Amber, you know what Dave is like! He's like the town foghorn, gossiphorn even. You know he can't keep his mouth shut when he finds out about something."

"Well Tyler are you coming to battle of the bands tonight?"
"Fuck yes! It's emo night, gonna be swarming with innocent vulnerable emo guys."
"Tyler...for some reason I feel quite scared for them."

"You look gorgeous Amber, now come on do you wanna get a lift up with me? It's like quarter to 6."
"Ok I'm basically ready now, I'll meet you in the car."
