What Are You Going To Do, Billie?...Kill Me?, chapter 16
A whole week came and slowly went, Cali had nerviously moved into the Armstrong household. Ollie didn't mind, she was more than happy to have another woman in the house, seeing asthough Mike and Billie weren't really women.
Cali had taken over Annies old room, Annie had left about 5 years ago. So Cali took the room as her own. She only did what Ollie had said, and that was just to make herself at home.
Billie liked having Cali in his house, there would be times where they would talk non stop, they loved eachother's company. Mike had sort of been away from the Armstrong household, he had been to a heap of girls houses since they had been off tour.
As for Cali's father and Lucy, Cali saw another family in her old home. She felt like it was salt rubbing into a wound. She didn't have a family now, they were gone. And she didn't know where she would see them, or even if she would ever see them again. Atleast she wouldn't get dragged back to bording school when the school break was over.
Billie was feeling the happiest he had ever been, until he got the news that Al, the drummer of Green Day had quit the band to go on with college.
Both Billie and Mike were heart broken, more than heart broken. Cali had never seen Billie so down, and Mike was just about the same. There would be times were Billie wouldn't get up in the mornings, or come out of his room at all. Mike had tried to make the best of things, he decided that he should still go with school. He didn't want to leave things unfinished. But Billie, the question he kept on asking Cali was; What could he give? Where would he turn up?
She never knew how to anwser it, she just kept saying that someone will come along.
And that someone did.
Tre Cool.
The former drummer of The Lookouts, Larry and the band had hung up what they had and decided to go their different ways. But Larry knew that Tre had something,
Larry also knew that Green Day were looking for a drummer. So Tre fit into the band like a glove. It was more than perfect, Billie had got himself together and finaly got himself back, same with Mike.
As for Cali and Billie, they kept everything a secret.
"No, no, no!" Cali screamed out, in protest.
"What?! That's how you do it... Right Mike?"
"Right Billie." Mike said, giving Cali and evil grin.
"Play the fucking game right!" Cali yelled out, throwing the card to Billie with a laugh.
"You said play go fish, so we're playing go fish." Tre said, looking at Mike'scards when his head was turned. Billie let out a girlish laugh, making Cali smiled to herself. Cali looked over to Tre, she felt kinda weird. She had a past with Tre, she couldn't just let that float away, like it never happened could she?
Well she did, she didn't have anything for him. He was a nice guy and all but they just never fit.
"Cali, do you have a 6?" Billie asked, smiling to her. He knew she did.
"Am I the only on who is playing tha game fairly?!" She yelled out, throwng her cards down onto the table. The three guys laughed, she laughed aswell.
"This game sucks anyway," Mike said, also throwing his cards down. Tre threw his, and then Billie.
"I'm going to get a jacket, be right back..." Cali said, leaving the garage.
"So Gilman on Saturday?... God my balls are itchy!" Tre yelled out, Mike rolled his eyes and Billie just laughed, the smoke filled the room.
"Tre, please... Don't." Mike said as he laid his head back. Billie took a drag from his smoke and flicked the ashes into the tray.
"Anyone want a beer?" Billie asked.
"Yeah, go get me one servant!" Tre demanded.
"Shut up dumbass..." Billie said as he got up, he walked up the stairs and into the living room. He closed the door behind him and then ran up the stairs, the stairs that leads up to the bedrooms. He ran up to Annies room, he swung open the door and saw Cali putting on her jacket.
"Oh Mr Armstrong, what can I help you with?" She asked, grinning. Billie walked over to her, with a smirk on his face.
"Miss Right, I'm in need of your help... Can you help me with this?" He asked in a kinding voice. He laid his hands on her hips and soflty kissed her lips, she kissed back. There lips grazing against eachother's, and smiles came to her and she softly pulled away.
"We're gonna get caught..." She said, fixing up her jacket with her back facing him.
"I'll take that risk," He said, wrapping his arms around her waist as he kissed her neck. Her hand rubbed against his arm, she let him kiss her neck one more time before she pulled away. She turned and faced him, giving hima kiss on the cheek.
"They think we're just friends, you know what's going to happen if Tre finds out. All the secrets will spill out, and it won't be pretty..."
"I know, I've heard it before..." He said, she kissed his lips softly one last time and then she walked out of the room. She walked down the stairs, but she was surprised but a pair of hands touching her hips.
"Billie," She said with a laugh.
"Cali," He said back, giving her neck warm soft kisses. She turned around and kissed his lips, a kiss where their tongues met.
"Billie! I said get a beer not 10!" Billie and Cali quickly pulled apart, just as Tre came crashing through the door.
Cali started walking to the door where Tre was and Billie walked over to the kitchen. Tre could sence that something was going on.
"Yeah, I'll be a second." Billie said, hiding the blush of his red cheeks.
"Ah, don't worry about it... I think I better go anyway, it's almost 11... And it's pretty dark..." Cali gave a look to Billie just before he walked into the kitchen. It was one of those 'We've been caught' looks.
"Um, ok... I'll see you tomorrow I guess..." Billie said as he walked into the kitchen, Cali gave a Tre a weak smile.
"Yeah... Tomorrow," Cali repeated, Tre nodded and he went back down the stairs. Cali followed after him.
"I'll see you later Mike," Tre said as he walked passed Mike, who looked as if he had passed out. Tre waved to Cali and then he walked out of the garage, Cali slupmed down onto the couch next to Mike, she let out a sigh.
"What's up?" Mike asked, Cali quickly looked over to him.
"Just scare the hell outta me! I thought you were sleeping..."
"I have that effect, you look like your embarresed..."
"What?... No, I'm just kinda hot..." She quickly said. Mike nodded and laid his head back down.
After a few minutes, Cali noticed that Billie didn't come back down. She got up and left Mike to sleep on the ratty old couch, she walked up to the kitchen but Billie wasn't there, as she was just about to walk up to his room she looked out the fly screen door and saw Billie sitting out on the back porch smoking. She turned to the direction of the back porch.
Billie looked up once Cali had came out, she smiled to him and sat down on the step next to him. He put his arm around her shoulders and she rested her head in the crook of his neck.
"You think Tre knows?" He asked, taking the last drag of his smoke. She still had her head rested on her shoulder.
"I don't know, he probably suspects something..." She said, feeling a bit guilty about it. He threw away the butt and then turned his head, he softly kissed the top of her head. She smiled to herself once again, god, she really loved being with him. They sat in silence, letting the outside sounds over take them while they were in each other's arms.
"I was thinking... We should go somewhere together, get away for awhile..."
"Yeah, like San Fran..." He hugged her just a bit tighter, giving her another kiss at the top of her head.
"You wanna go tomorrow?" She looked up to his eyes, he grinned. The look on her face was priceless.
"Oh and the money we get get of that tree, right over there..." She said sarcasticly, she rolled her eyes and laid her head back onto his shoulder.
"I have some money,"
"Where did you get that from?"
"Well, we sold some t-shirts on the tour... I had money left over,"
"How much?"
"60 Dollors..."
"That will get us to the super market and back."
"Going to the mall wouldn't be all that bad," He joked, she slaped his thigh and laughed.
"Ok, we'll go to San Fran tomorrow... We'll find some money," She said, he grinned and kissed the top of her again.
"Oh taking risks!" He teased. She giggled and snuggled in closer to him.
"Being with you is already a big risk."
"I'm not the risk! You are, you're trouble..." She gasped.
"I am not!" She said with a laugh.
"Yes you are, you're middle name is trouble... Cali Trouble Right." He laughed, she rolled her eyes.

"Ya ha," He said childishly, she looked up to him. A huge smile spread across her face, she kissed him and pulled away.
"Billiam!" His eyes shot open, she quickly stood up and ran into the house.
"No you fucking didn't!" He said chasing after her, she giggled as she ran up the stairs to her room.
"Catch me if you can, Billiam!" He wasn't too far behind her.
"Miss Trouble! Get your ass back here!" He said laughing as he chased her. She ran as fasted as she could to her room, once she ran in she slammed the door behind her.
"Ha! You can't get me now!" He banged on the door.
"I'll find my way in some how," She couldn't stop laughing, he held in his laughter and his stopped banging on the door, he lent up against the wall next to the door.
She heard nothing, she thought he had walked away. So she slowly opened the door, she couldn't see him... So she took another step so she was out of the door way.
"BOO!" Billie yelled. Giving her a shake, tackling her to the floor. She burst out in laughter and so did he. But the laughter died down once their eyes caught eachothers glimpse's.
And there it was.
Cali realised something, and for that exact same moment Billie realised it too.
She was in love with him.
And he was in love with her.
But the words couldn't and wouldn't come out, Billie got up off of her and stood up. She stood up aswell...
"Um, you wanna get something to drink?" He asked, still completly dazed about that split second.
"Ah, yeah..." He nodded and they both walked down to the kitchen. "I'll just go see if Mike is still sleeping," She said walking down to the garage, Mike was still sleeping on the couch. Gezz he could sleep through anything she thought.
The garage door was wide open, so she looked outside and saw a car pulling up infront of Billie's house. The car hadn't been seen by Cali before, but a soon as it stopped the car door opened and Kelly came out.
"Kelly!" Cali yelled out, running to Kelly as if she hadn't seen her in 10 years. Cali hugged Kelly tight and Kelly hugged Cali tight. They both let go.
"Just thought I would drop by for a visit, hope you don't mind..." Kelly said with a laugh, Cali shook her head.
"Visit anytime, even though it's like 12 at night..." Cali said with a laugh.
"Well we just go back from this band festival thing in Oakland, thought I would come say hi... So... How's Billie?" Kelly asked, Cali smiled weakly.
"Oh, he's ok... As I said, this is hell but bording school is worse," Cali lied, Billie's place was begining to feel like heaven.
"I s'pose... Oh I forgot to introduce you to Tommy, you know... The guy at new years?" Cali smiled and looked into the car, she saw the guy that she had seen at the new years party... The inside car light was on, she saw Tommy put pills into his mouth and then drink them along with water. "Don't worry about that, it ain't speed or anything, he needs them to keep his mind straight... Y'know," Cali nodded. "Hey Tommy come and meet Cali!" Kelly yelled as she knocked on the car window.
"Yeah!" Tommy came out of the car and walked over to Cali and Kelly.
"Hi, Tommy... I'm Cali," Cali said nicely. She looked Tommy up and down and she put out her hand for him to shake, he had black pants and he was wearing a black jacket and his shoes were black all stars, he looked normal.
"Nice to meet you Cali, I'm Tommy..." She looked over to Kelly, then she looked down to Tommy's hand that he put out for her to shake. His hand was trembling.
"I know you Tommy," Cali said with a laugh, then she saw his eye twitch. She was beginig to think he was freak.
"Oh sorry," Cali looked over to Kelly once again, Kelly shrugged.
"Cali?!" Cali looked up to the garage once she heard Billie'svoice call out. Billie run out of the garage, but stopped once he saw Kelly and another guy.
"Billie, Kelly and Tommy came to say hi," Cali said, kinda getting freaked out by Tommy, he wouldn't stop twitching and humming to himself.

"Hi," Kelly nodded. Billie walked down and stood next to Cali.
"Hey, you're, you're that guy who dated Ke-Kelly..." Tommy tremered.
"Yeah, so what?" Billie said, with a bad attudude.
"You tr-treated her like shit you asshole!"

"Mike! Mike!" Cali screamed as she tried to get Tommy off Billie, Billie started throwing his own punches, hitting, Tommy quit a few times, knocking Tommy off of him. Mike heard Cali and Kelly scream and he came running out.
"Get the fuck off me!" Billie yelled.
"What the fuck!?" Mike yelled out, he saw Billie punching come guy about 10 times, but the guy punched Billie back harder eachtime.
"Stop!" Cali screamed. Mike finaly pulled the guy off of Billie.
"Fucking hell Tommy!" Kelly screamed as she helped hold Tommy back, Billie was sitting on the ground, his eyebrow was split and it was bleeding. Cali rushed over to Billie and pulled the sleeve of her jacket over her hand as she try to stop the blood dripping down his face.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Both girls screamed at the guys.
"Look, Kelly I think you should take... Tommy? Home... Cali take Billie," Cali looked over to Mike and nodded, Mike was holding back Tommy, whose lips was split and blood was dripping down his chin. He was twitching and mumbling. Cali looked bacl to Billie, he could barly breathe, he looked like he was panicing. Which he was.
"Sorry Cali..." Kelly took Tommy away in the car and Mike helped Cali take Billie back to the house.

"Fucking hell Tommy!" Kelly screamed as she helped hold Tommy back, Billie was sitting on the ground, his eyebrow was split and it was bleeding. Cali rushed over to Billie and pulled the sleeve of her jacket over her hand as she try to stop the blood dripping down his face.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Both girls screamed at the guys.
"Look, Kelly I think you should take... Tommy? Home... Cali take Billie," Cali looked over to Mike and nodded, Mike was holding back Tommy, whose lips was split and blood was dripping down his chin. He was twitching and mumbling. Cali looked bacl to Billie, he could barly breathe, he looked like he was panicing. Which he was.
"Sorry Cali..." Kelly took Tommy away in the car and Mike helped Cali take Billie back to the house.
"I'm sorry for doing that Cali." Billie said as he looked over to her. She gave him a pitty look and kept walking him back to the house, with his arm slung over Mike'sshoulder...
