My Mom Married Billie Joe, chapter 2
****A Year Ago****
I was listening to some Green Day and doing my homework when my best friend Marie called. "Hey Marie!" I said, happy to hear somebody's voice. " Oh my God Victoria!! You'll never guess who's playing here in town! Try to guess." She was totally freaking out, so I knew what she was about to say. "Is it Green Day?!?! Oh my God! I can't believe it!!" I was freaking out as well. "We should totally buy some tickets! I heared they were only 20 bucks!" I couldn't belive what she was saying.
I knew I had to get my homework done before I could even think about Green Day tickets. So I told her I'd call her back. Just as I got off the phone, my mom knocked on the door. "Sweetie? I'm home now!" she said. Before I even asked about her day I told her about the Green Day concert and asked if I could go with Marie. "Not without me. There are a lot of stoners at concerts, and I don't plan on having you become one." I kinda knew that was coming, but what the heck! Its not gonna be a total drag. So I got online and bought some tickets. I was so lucky that there were still some left.
****A Week Later****
It was the night of the concert and I was totally excited. I had on my awsome Green Day shirt that I had made and a pair of green Converse. I even dyed my hair green for the occasion. I was completely stoked.
When we arrived, it was already crowded, and we were three hours early. I was so excited when they finally came on stage. The first song they played was American Idiot. My mom, Marie, and I sang along. It was awsome. Then they asked to bring a couple fans on stage. Marie and I screamed and screamed. I guess it worked cause Billie Joe picked us two to come on stage (I know, I know, that is in all the stories, but I couldn't think of anything else). " Wazzup?" Billie Joe asked us. "I'm doing awsome!" I managed to say. Marie just stood there, too shocked to speak. " I like your hair," he said. "Thanks so much!" I screamed (After my mom got with Billie Joe, I stopped dying my hair green).
Guard gave us a backstage pass, but my mom freaked. "The concert's over! We have to go!" she screamed. "Mom..that's not fair," I said, crying. Then Billie Joe came over towards us. " Uh.. hi! I'm Billie Joe!" he said, putting his hand out to my mom attempting to shake it. She just stared into his beautiful eyes, and he stared at hers. I could tell that they were interested in each other.
After a few hours of my mom talking to Billie Joe, and Marie and I hanging out with Mike and Tre, my mom decided to leave. They ended their conversation with a kiss. I almost puked. " Here's my number." my mom said, jotting down our number. I couldn't believe that that was happening! "Thanks." he said and gave her another kiss. I guess Billie Joe wasn't with Adrienne anymore.( which would never happen. I hope they live the rest of their lives together. Billie and Adrienne make the best couple, and I would be sad if they got a divorce. :(()
I said goodbye to Mike, Tre, and Billie Joe. " Your mom is cool!" he said, and gave me a hug. "Thanks." I was still a little star struck. " Bye Bye guys! the concert was great!" Marie said.
I was too embarassed to talk to my mom for a while. I asked her about him and Billie Joe. She said that they were just "friends." But then six months later they got married.
