Look Who I Bumped Into..., chapter 6

"Okay, okay. Calm down Jordan. You've seen enough scary movies to know what to do," I said to myself, "Now where's my cell phone?" I went into the living room and looked on the coffee table. Nope. I stood there, thinking on where I put it when I heard a noise. It sounded like some one was messing around upstairs. "Oh no," I said, remembering that the door was wide open when I came home. Anyone could have just walked right on in. But it could be Ally, I thought, she might have been sleeping when I came home and she might have just woken up.

I went over to the bottem of the stairs and glanced up. Yeah, some one was defenitly up there. "Ally," I called up. No answer. "Ally. Is that you?" Still no answer. I took a deep breathe and started up teh stairs. "Ally!" I called up again. This time I heard footsteps running down the hall. I stopped on the middle step waiting for some one to appear in the stairway.

But the person who appeared wasen't Ally. It was to tall to be Ally, and Ally didn't carry around a butcher knife. "Oh shit!" I screamed, turning around and running down the stairs, with the person close behind me. I ran into the living room and flipped the coffee table over to block the guy, but he jumped clean over it. I ran into the hallway and darted into the basement. I locked the door and ran down the stairs. I franticaly looked around for a place to hide. I heard the person banging on the door, trying to break it. I saw a small window that was pretty high up on the wall. I grabbed a chair and placed it under the window and then climbed on it and pushed the window open. The person was still banging on the door, only harder, I could hear it cracking. I started to climb out of the window.

It was pretty hard, The window was narrow and I was a little chubby. I got half of my body out when I realized I was stuck. "Fuck!" I screamed. I tried wiggling through, but it still wasen't working. Then I heard the door break. "No! Help! Please!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping that one of the neighbors would hear me. The footsteps walked down the stairs and across the room. I clawed at the lawn, desperatly trying to get out. Hands wrapped around my leg and after one strong yank the person pulled me back inside. I fell to the floor, knocking my nose on the pavement. Blood started to flow down my face and on my shirt.

I began to sob. This was it, I was going to die. The person grabbed me by my hair and yanked me to my feet. That's when I got a look at their face. It was Johnny. "Did you miss me?" he grinned, waving the knife in my face. "How did you get out?" I said. "Hey, our jail is not that secure. Even a moron like you could break out." He through me into the chair and started twriling the knife in his hands. "Well Jordan," he said, putting the knife to my throat, "Do you have any last words?"
