An Extraordinary Girl, chapter 4
Tre came back downstairs. He was wearing checkered blue shorts and a white t-shirt. He sat down on the other side of Amanda. He looked at Billie and nodded his head towards her. Billie Joe nodded. He counted to 3 in silence. "Tickle fight!" Tre yelled. Billie and Tre started to tickle Amanda. She started laughing. "Stop," she screamed squirming around trying to get away. Billie got on the floor. He started to tickle her feet. She started to kick her feet. Accidentally, Amanda kicked Billie in the face. Tre let go of Amanda.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," Amanda said still laughing. She knelt down beside him. Tre was cracking up. Amanda hit Tre's leg. He stopped laughing.
"I'm fine," Billie said rubbing his cheek. He stood up. Amanda stood up also. Mike had walked downstairs. He was only in his boxers. Amanda looked at him and then looked away. She walked past him and back upstairs. Once she got upstairs she went into the room where she was staying. She jumped onto the bed and layed down on her stomach. Billie walked into her room. He was followed by the rest of the band. They all had pillows behind their backs. Tre and Billie sat on either side of Amanda. Mike sat at the end. "What do you guys want?" Amanda asked. "Pillow fight!" Tre and Billie yelled. They all started to hit Amanda with pillows.
Joey and Jakob were also up. They heard Billie and Tre yell pillow fight. They grabbed their pillows and ran down the hall into Amanda's room. Jakob started to hit his dad. Joey hit Tre. While Billie and Tre were trying to fend for themselves, Amanda grabbed a pillow and hit Mike upside the head. The pillow fight lasted for about 10 min. The kids totally dominated. Billie, Tre, and Mike were laughing. Half way through the pillow fight Adrienne had walked into the room. She was standing in the doorway. She looked at her husband, and shook her head chuckling. Billie noticed his wife. "Mommy, we beat dad," Joey said running over to Adrienne. Jakob followed. They both hugged her. "I can see that," Adrienne said laughing. Billie sat up. Amanda hit him in the back with a pillow. Billie turned to look at her. "Tre get her," he said. Billie and Tre started to tickle Amanda again. Mike joined in. "Stop, stop, stop," Amanda said laughing. She tried to get away. Adrienne was laughing. Amanda managed to struggle to the edge of the bed and fell off. "I'm okay," she said raising her hand. The band looked over the edge of the bed at her. She snapped her fingers. "Oh sorry," Billie said grabbing her hand. He pulled her up. "Thank you," Amanda said. Tre's grin was literally ear to ear. Amanda giggled.
"We have to go to the recording studio in an hour," Mike said. "Can I come?" Amanda asked. "Sure" Billie answered. Amanda smiled. She looked down at herself and frowned. "What's wrong?" Tre asked. "I've been wearing the same clothes for 3 days," she answered. "Here, you might be able to fit in some of my clothes," Adrienne said. She motioned for Amanda to follow. Amanda nodded and followed. While Adrienne was looking through her closet Amanda went looking around the room. She found Blue. It was on a stand in the corner of the room. She walked over to it and looked at the stickers on the front of it. She plucked one of the strings. Adrienne came out of the closet. "Do you play guitar?" she asked. Amanda shook her head. "Oh. Try these on," Adrienne said giving Amanda a black tank top and a pair of blue jeans. Amanda went back to her room. "Out of the room," she said pushing Tre out of the room. Billie, Jakob, Joey, and Mike walked out after Tre. Amanda locked the door. She changed into the clothes Adrienne gave her. She looked at herself in the mirror. She took off the shirt. She put it on the bed. Then, she put on her old one and walked out of the room. "The jeans fit but not the shirt. Do you have a belt?" Amanda said handing the shirt to Adrienne. Adrienne nodded. She went into her room and got a belt. While she was in her room she got a bleach pen. She bleached out the small blood stains on parts of Amanda's shirt. "There," she said when she was done. She also handed Amanda the belt. Amanda put the belt on. "Thanks," she said smiling. She walked downstairs and waited for the band. Billie, Tre, and Mike ran down the stairs. Billie was wearing jeans and a blue shirt. Tre was wearing the same thing as he was before. Mike was wearing sweat pants and a yellow and black shirt. Amanda stood up. Billie got out the keys to his car. "Let's go," he said. The band and Amanda walked out of the car. They got in the car and drove off.
