Frankie woke up with two arms wrapped gently around her. Startled at first she tried to move away but they only tightened around her. "Mmm please don't leave me." She relaxed hearing Mike's voice hushed from behind her.
"I forgot where I was for a second." She turned around so her chest was to his. "But I really should get going, if I don't get home and call the gossip queens they'll send out a search party for me."
"Well I'll give you a ride home. Is it okay if I shower first?"
"Oh yeah it's fine."
"Okay, you can wait here, or go help yourself to whatever is still edible in the kitchen."
"Thanks, I'm kind of hungry."
"Okay, well I won't be long." Mike unwrapped himself from Frankie, and the blankets, and disappeared into the master bathroom.
Frankie slowly got up and gathered up her clothes and put them on Mike's bed and then headed down to the kitchen.
"Hey, you have a eventful night up there?" Billie Joe smirked and wiggled his eyebrows at Frankie as she ate a PB & J sandwich.
"Not the kind of eventfulness that your thinking of went on."
"Sure it didn't, why are you wearing his clothes then?" Billie Joe winked and gave Frankie a nudge with his elbow.
"He lent them to me to sleep in, and I'm going upstairs now, I don't need to be interrogated about what didn't happen last night."
"Okay fine, fine you run up there and have shower sex now."
"Okay Billie Joe, I'll be sure to moan load enough for you to hear too."
"I didn't say I want to hear it, I just want to hear about it."
"Whatever you say Billie Joe."
Frankie pushed Mike's bedroom door open to find him standing next to his bed naked with his towel flung over his shoulder and singing The Kids Are Alright till he noticed her.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry." Frankie turned shutting the door and falling backwards on it her face blush red 'Wow, Frankie, wow, wow ,wow! Now breath, oh my god his body was holy crap to die for. How much of an idiot did I just make myself look like just now?'
'Great now I look like an idiot, naked and singing and her watching. She probably thinks I'm some, some I dunno but she probably thinks something in a negative direction' Mike opened the door now full dressed, to have Frankie fall into him knocking him unexpectedly off his feet.
"I'm sorry, I was leaning on the door." Frankie rolled off Mike got up and helped Mike up as well.
"Its okay. I'm fine, you?"
"I'm fine."
"So you probably want to go home now?"
"Yeah I probably should."
"Sorry about the hideous sight of me naked and singing, I didn't think you, or anyone else would be coming upstairs to be subjected to that."
"Don't be sorry." 'I'm not'
"Thanks, shall we go?"
"Uh huh. Your friends wern't that bad you know."
"Yeah I told them to behave, and it was rare that they listened."
"Psht Mike you liar we are always good!" Tré entered putting his arm on Frankie's shoulder.
"Sure you are."
"Don't listen to him Frankie, he is just in denial about how wild and crazy he really is."
"Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, nice to meet you Tré, and tell Billie Joe and Adrienne it was nice to meet them as well, and Joey and Jacob."
"I will, hope to see you again."
"You too Tré." Tré and Frankie exchanged a friendly hug before the pair headed out.

"You know I had a good time, and I really hope you did." Mike parked his car and put his hand on Frankie's.
"I did Mike, I really did... Actually it's the most fun I've had in awhile."
"Well that's good to hear."
"I'll see you around." Frankie opened the car door and out on the pavement.
"You want to go out again sometime?"
"I'd like that, if this is an invitation."
"Of course it is."
"Well give me a call sometime soon."
"I will."
"I'll walk you to the door." Mike said getting out of his side.
"You don't need to." Frankie took Mike's offered hand and stepped out of the car.
"But I want to."
"Okay." She smiled as he lead her to the apartment doors.
"So I'd give you a kiss goodnight but it's morning, and I'd give you a kiss goodbye but I'd like to think it's not, so I was thinking a want to go out for lunch with me tomorrow kiss?"
"Well you could give me one of those but I am working tomorrow till 6."
"Hmm well how about the next day?"
"I'm not sure. I just started a new job and tomorrow is my first day, and I am working at Dean's still so basically for the next few months I will be working, eating, and sleeping, and having no social life what so ever."
"Well what about today?"
"We're just ending out date number one."
"Yes well I think that would be perfect time for date two to come in, don't you think?"
"Well I do have a day off for sure next week I'm going to a concert with my friends."
"Really? Well are you free before the show?"
"I could be."
"Okay I'll call you I'm kind of starving at the moment sorry."
"Well for warning I think Tré ate the last of anything appealing in your house."
"That little bugger."
"I could make you something, that is if you want to see my crummy apartment."
"Sure, if it's not too much of a pain in the ass to serve my stomachs needs."
"No not at all I like cooking, you like pancakes?"
"Who doesn't?"
***
"You brought him into your place! Oh my god this is huge Frankie!"
"It's not that big a deal Stevey. Really I just made him pancakes cause he was hungry."
"You cooked for him, you out of all people, you hate cooking just because you hate being good at it."
"I like cooking."
"Only for yourself."
"Whatever." Frankie twirled the phone cord in her fingers as she slouched down in the chair more.
"Oh my god this is so big you are falling for him, oh and so soon. I have to tell Keria."
"I'm not falling for him, I don't even know if he's going to call me again, and anyways I think it will just be a casual thing."
"Sure, sure stop lying to yourself and deal with it, you have a crush on him."
"A crush isn't that a little juvenile?"
"Well your handling it like one."
"I am not!"
"See your easily offended by my comment, which means you are afraid that I am right, like always. I say never doubt me, I am the love machine."
"Love machine?"
"Yes, I just know when someone is in lovey dovey mode."
"Well I think your off by a mile. I'm not in love, I like him yes I'll admit that but I think you're a few too many steps ahead here."
"Hey I was talking future."

"Okay have fun slaving away for those corporate gods you hate so much."
"Yah well the more I slave the more money I have to be able to start production on my novel."
'It's been two days. He isn't going to call I knew it' Frankie opened her apartment door and almost stepped on a rose at the foot of her door.
Francesca,
Would you care to join me for lunch? Wait for me at 12 if yes.
P.S. Do you like the rose?
'Who left these?
Was it Mike?
How exactly do I let him know about lunch?
Should I call him?
Why couldn't he had just called and asked?
... it was sweet though'

"Frankie dear Mr. Richardson wants that column now, oh who gave you the rose? it's beautiful." Mrs. Norris asked peeking her head into Frankie's cubicle.
"I'm on the last sentence... Okay done, and um I'm not quite sure but they are coming here at twelve I think if they know I'm here."
"Well good luck with that, and that you. Mr. Richardson likes employees who hand stuff in on time as long as you do that you'll be noticed and go far and be promoted fast. And not very many do, so it won't go unnoticed if your ahead."
"Thank you for the heads up Mrs. Norris."
"Oh please call me Dorothy."
"Well thank you Dorothy."
"No problem dear, if you need anything just ask me."
"Okay I will."
Mrs. Norris fluttered off quickly to Mr. Richardson's office to drop of this weeks columns, and Frankie just sat back in her seat looking over next weeks topic she had to cover.
'Green Day taking over New York City scheduled interview May 10th. Well this can't be that hard since I'm going to the concert, and an interviewed column that's awesome. Stevey and Keria are going to be so jealous. Maybe if I get some good pictures at the concert it will get me a heads up in this place.'
"Hey Frankie, there's some guy here. He says he's here to pick you up for lunch." Frankie's power hungry journalist co-worker who will stop at nothing to get to the top said propping herself on the corner of Frankie's desk.
"Okay Tegan, can you let him know I'll be there in a second?"
"No I can't sorry, cause he is coming this way."
"What?" Frankie peered out of the side of her cubicle and saw no one coming her way and looked at Tegan confused.
"Gotcha, he's the cute one at the end of the hall in the over coat and hat."
"Did he give you a name?"
"No, just that he was here to take you on a lunch date."
"Okay well what time is it?"
"Its 12 o' clock shape so get out of here already."
"Okay, okay I'm leaving." Frankie logged out for the day from her computer, stood up and pulled her suit coat on as she walked to the end of the hall seeing a tall man leaning against the wall in a long over coat and a hat, he had brown hair and blue eyes, it was Mike.
"Care to join me for lunch?" Mike offered his hand and Frankie took it and answered with an "I'd love to."
"Hope my invitation way wasn't too weird, your line was busy all morning and I didn't have time to stop by so I had someone send over the flower and note."
"It wasn't weird I liked it, even though I didn't know who sent it, well I kind of thought it was you, but I could have accommodated a stalker in the past few days."
"Well I hope you haven't I don't want to fight anyone off."
Frankie laughed and squeezed his hand. "Don't worry I can fight plenty off myself if it's too much for you to handle."
"Oh no never too much to handle, it's just I wouldn't want you to see me turn into an ugly green monster."
"Oh I see, well it wouldn't scare me."
"So do you have to come back to this joint."
"No I'm done for the day I have my assignment for next week already."
"So that means you would love to share the day with me?"
"It depends."
Mike raised his eyebrow at her "Depends on what?"
"If you feed me and make sure I have endless amusement, oh and have me back by 6:00 pm."
"Okay I'll try, but you know if you said endless pleasure it would be easier for me to accomplish."
"So this is date number three I'd say wouldn't you?"
"Four, I think me having delicious pancakes at your place counts."
"Really now?"
"Yup so by the fourth date I am entitled to either hand holding or waist walking access."
"Waist walking access?"
"Yes, that means I walk with you close to me with my arm around you."
"Well both seem appropriate."
"Yeah but I can't do both, well I could but it would be acquired."
"I see what you mean."
"You have to decide before we get outside which gives you about four steps."
Frankie grabbed Mike's hand eloping it in hers, then pulled him closer to her so he could put his arm comfortabley around her, and her around him as they stepped out on the New York street.
