This is Ludicrous, chapter 10

"Aren't you the hypocrite then?!" Linda yelled across the room, right to her mother.

"Well I honestly didn't expect my honor student, over achiever, fucking perfect daughter to end up like me!" her mother snapped right back.

"PERFECT?! YOU THINK I'M PERFECT?! HOW DARE YOU!"

"Well obviously you're not so perfect now aren't you?! I can never bring you back to church, especially with your guitar playing boyfriend hanging around. Not to mention your ever-growing stomach!"

"FUCKING HYPOCRITE! THATS ALL YOU ARE?!" Linda screamed, tears streamed down her face.

This is all she could ever say to her mom for the past month. December break had started, and the holidays were near. However, the two weren't necessarily planning to stop their bitching any time soon.

"AND BILLIE JOE IS NOT JUST A GUITAR PLAYER! HE'S A FUCKING GENIUS!" and then she swung the front door open, stepped outside, and closed it even louder. There was nothing more in the world that she hated, besides being pregnant, was that her mother would constantly bring her down to the acting-like-a-whore level. To Linda, this wasn't even fair. She was born when her mother was 16, and now this was going to run in the family. Life was just never going to be normal.

Linda sat on the end of the driveway waiting for Billie Joe to return from Mike's house. With her head in her hands, Linda began to cry even more. All of a sudden, there was a light tap on her shoulder. She jumped up a bit, to see one of Billie Joe's friends, Storm.

"Oh Storm, what are you doing...he...here..." she smiled as she tried to wipe away her tears.

"Ahhh, nothing. I was just in the neighborhood and thought I would say hi."

"Hmm, I see..." she answered. For some reason, Linda didn't feel quite comfortable near Storm. He was always on pot, or hitting on one of her friends. It was just this one time that Linda was happy to see someone who didn't exactly hate her.

"You seem to be down, girlie. Whatchor problem be?" he smiled. *pot head

"Well my mom and I just had another fight and-"

"AHHH! You girls and your periods! GAH!"

There was silence.

"Well yes, but that's not the case with me of course. I just need to get out of the house so-"

"OOO! Let's take a walk shall we?" Storm said as he sat up and grabbed Linda's hand.

"I'm waiting for Billie Joe so I really-"

"YAY! I love walking!" Storm smiled once again, interrupting Linda once again, and took her by the hand for a walk. She really didn't want to leave, it being Christmas Eve. But it was better than sitting around and doing nothing.
