This is Ludicrous, chapter 11
"You realize you're a terrible mother sometimes," Mr. LeVille looked at his wife. "My baby girl already has a lot on her mind, I don't need someone to make my princess feel worse."
"Lance, I'm sorry...oh I hope she's alright," Mrs. LeVille cried. Christmas morning was ruined. And the blood seemed to be in the mother's hands, isn't life always like this?
Billie Joe sat on the couch, waiting. His heart pounded faster every second. All he could think of was Linda, Linda, and maybe...Linda. His mother was standing with Mrs. LeVille, trying to calm her down a bit.
"Now I've been a mother for a very long time sweet heart, and I have realized that you have to let things go. Heck even if the poor dear did run away, I'm sure it wouldn't be anyone's fault. It would be her decision."
Oddly enough, Linda running away didn't seem to have crossed Mrs. LeVille's mind at all. "WHAT?! RUN AWAY!?!" She huddled herself in a corner, feeling as though she were to spontaneously combust any moment.
"Mrs. LeVille, we can't seem to find any trace at all of your daughter, nothing was left behind," said Officer Zimmerman. Yes, even the policeman don't get Christmas off. Then his eyes drifted towards 15 year old Billie, still with the beautiful curly brown hair he was blessed with. "Young man, do you know where Linda could be?"
Billie Joe was afraid of policemen. "Uh...uh...no..."
"I think you do, son. Tell me what you know...tell me...TELL ME!"
"MR. ZIMMERMAN! This young man is Linda's boyfriend. I think if he knew where she was he would have said something a long time ago," Mr. LeVille said.
"Very well. I think that is all I can do for you all. Merry Christmas," and the force left the household.
"Momma momma! Can we open our pwesents now?!" Lennon asked.
"No baby, we have to wait until-"
"MOMMA WHERES LINDA?!" Lily yelled as she ran towards Mrs. LeVille, tugging at her skirt.
The phone rang.
All was silent as Mrs. LeVille answered the phone.
"Hello?...What can I do for you? She is? How did this happen?! You're fucking kidding me. Oh sorry for my language. Is she alright? Right now? Yes. Thank you so much! Bye!"
"What was that honey?" Mr. LeVille asked.
"Linda...Linda miscarried."
