This is Ludicrous, chapter 5
"You do?" Linda asked. She looked into Billie Joe's green eyes, deeper than ever.
"...Yes I do. But don't worry if you don't feel the same way. It's cool. I'll just-"
"Billie Joe, please calm down," Linda said as she pulled him back to her bed as he tried to walk away. His face was blushing and his heart raced. "Billie Joe, I love you, too."
"No, you're just saying that Lin. Really you dont ha-"
"I do. Don't you ever tell me eitherwise." She placed her finger on his lips. She placed a kiss on his lips, slowly. He recieved it, and reached for another one.
Everything was silent.
Their eyes locked in each others. It was so obvious, Billie Joe and Linda were in love, and it had taken them 15 years to find each other. "When did you realize you were in love with me?" Linda asked.
"The first time I saw you. When I shook your hand, remember?" he answered. Linda nodded her head as she held him in her arms. "When did you realize you were in love with me?"
"Three weeks ago at Felton's party. When Storm threw you into the pool and you almost cried...and then you and I took a walk to get you dried off. That night had to be the best night of my life..." Linda sighed. The two's lips locked once more. Linda fell back onto her pillow, Billie Joe on top of her. "You...can just...spend the night..." Linda whispered in Billie's ear.
"Yes, love."
His head fell onto her breast as her fingers ran through his ginger hair. The two fell asleep together.
