I Never Thought This Could Be, chapter 2
On our way to homeroom Kayla met up with Billie and I. Kayla gave me an expecting look since she didn't know who the hell this guy was who was walking with me. "Kayla Billie Joe, Billie Joe Kayla" I introduced them. They both mumbled "hi" and continued walking in silence with me.
The same silence continued untill the bell rang for us to go to 2nd period.
Out in the hallway Billie Joe finally started talking again. "Sorry that I didn't talk to Kayla much. I get shy around people I don't know well" he explained. "Well you don't know me well yet" I pointed out. "Well there is just something about you that I like. I feel comfortable around you" he added.
He was making me blush again. I hated that feeling yet loved it. Looks like I have a new crush...
We managed to get to second period on time. Since Billie Joe was new he had to talk to the tacher about a seat. This time he got to sit behind me. The whole class was just listening to the teacher but I kept hearing Billie Joe scribbling words on the paper. God know what he was doing. So I just tried my best to ignore the annoying scribbling sound and I was kmore occupied staring at Tyler, which was usualy common in my every day school routine.
Again the bell finally rang and as soon as Billie Joe heard the loud beep he taped my shoulder. I felt a surge of joy go through my body. Oh yeah this was definately a crush. He smiled sweetly and handed me the piece of paper that he'd been scratching words on all period. I beamed at him since I wouldn't have guessed he was actually writing to ME.
Again we wound up walking to another period together. This time we managed to bump into Alicia (well not bump into, we always meet before 3rd period)." Hi, who's this?" she asked when she saw Billie Joe standing next to me again looking shy." This is Billie Joe, he's new" I explained to her." Oh, cool. Do you wanna come over my house after school today?" Alicia asked him trying to be as polite to him as possible. "Ummm... Yeah sure" he replied, sort of losening up a bit seeing there was nothing to be embaressed about.
Suddenly Tyler appeared behind me" Wait, now he's comming over too?" he asked like it was some tragedy. "What do you care? They're my friends" she spat at her brother. "What do you mean, you just met Billie" Tyler argued back.
"Wait. Were you standing behind me the whole time?" I asked realising that he could've only know about the introduction if he was listening the whole time. When I spoke to him he turned bright red again and said "yes "quietly. My face went hot again for the millionth time today. God how could someone get so embaressed by just asking a simple question. Its not like I asked if he'd ever had sex with a wall. Yet I shouldn't be talking because I turned just as red as him.
