Guitar Tech, chapter 2

You actually checked your mailbox first before leaving. You opened it and found a mail addressed from you.

You quickly ripped the envelope and read the letter:

Dear Ms. Stacy Miller,

We're pleased to inform you that you're the Green Day guitar technician for the American Idiot Tour. Please meet us at Gate 34, International Airport, Singapore Airlines at 8 am. We are travelling First Class and enclosed is your ticket.

We hope you have a pleasant time with the band.

Best Regards,

Tom Parker
Representative of Green Day

You found the ticket in the envelope. You were glad that you checked your mailbox because if it wasn't the mail, and the info in the letter, you wouldn't know where to go at the airport.

You soon reached the airport and you quickly checked in and went to the Gate 34. You were looking for the band, obviously.

Then, you saw somebody was approaching you. This guy was huge, tall and kinda scary. He has that big moustache and bulky figure...

"Morning, you're Stacy?" the guy asked.

You nodded.

"Good, you come here just in time. The band is still somewhere else, kind of hiding, well, just wait okay?" the guy said again.

You nodded again. You followed the guy to the empty seats and sat there. You were eager to meet the band (who wouldn't be eager?) and you really wanted to kiss Billie Joe, even though you know it is impossible.

Thirty minutes later, you heard the announcer said that they were boarding soon. Well, that guy stood up and led you into the plane. You were clearly surprised with the luxurious seat, and the personal TVs and lots other stuff in the First Class. You never sat in a First Class before, it's like, very costly.

You sat at your seat, and waited again. You put on your newest iPod Video and watched your favourite Green Day video, "Nice Guys Finish Last". You were kinda laughing at Billie Joe stretching when you felt somebody tapping on your shoulder.

You turned around and saw a guy, this time is not as tall as before, just average and had a messy black hair. He was wearing shades so you could not really indentify this guy.

"Hey, you're Stacy?" the guy asked.

You nodded silently again. "Hey."

The guy smiled and sat next to you.

"I'm Billie Joe. How're you? You're our new guitar tech right?" the guy asked again.

You froze. You froze, you froze and you froze. For at least, five minutes.

Billie waved in front of your face. "Hello? Anybody home?"

You snapped back to reality.

"Oh yeah. Hi. Yeah, I'm the new guitar tech. How are you?" you stammered.

Billie grinned," Fine. Well, this gonna be a long journey."

You nodded. "Uh-huh. Your wife isn't coming?"

Billie shook his head sadly," No, she isn't. Needed to take care of the kids. I'll miss her a lot.."

You became more and more relaxed talking with Billie Joe. He was very kind and warm. You felt like you were talking to somebody who was your friend since kindergarten.

Soon enough, the plane started to take off.
