As I Lay Dying, chapter 1
This story is much to sad to be told...at the end.
I lived in New York. The city that never sleeps. I loved it. Im Allyisa, im very hyper and I am never usually never sad. I love music and Animals, mostley dogs. Yay go dogs. Ok so its year 1999 and im 26. I wanted to spend the time with my family that lives in Arizona. The middle of nowhere.
I worked during the day at the mall. Im not going to tell you what where I work in the mall becuase you might make fun of me. One of my friends and I work togather. She is a concert freak. She has been to every concert. Even GreenDay. Thats why I hate her.
On saturday I called in to work which wasnt normal. Someone probebly got sick. I would to if I had to work at..
Never mind. Better not told. My best friend was working that day. Atleast I wasnt going to work by myself. I put my stuff up and and joined my friend.
"Hey Allysia," Katie greeted me.
"Hey." Talking to katie made work easier. It went faster. Before I knew it, it was 6:30. Atlst time to get off work. Yes! Katie and I went to get dinner togather at a local bar. Well since it was Saturday it was noisy and busy.
We found a seat back in the back. We ordered drinks and food. "You know how your birthday was last week and never got you anything?" Katie told me. I nodded in disbeliefe. "Yea. How could you forget my birthday?" Katie smiled and luaghed. "Well I got your birthday present right here. She pulled out a black envelope. I took it from her. I opend it. I looked at katie while I was opening. She was having a hard time keeping her face togather.
A plane ticket to California and and a return ticket to New York. "Um..katie I allready have plane tickets to go see my family."
"Yea but there is more." I looked into the envelope. There was another to a GreenDay conncert. "Oh my god katie!" I shrieked. Its a good thing were in a bar were there was allready noise.
The concert was in one week. A million things were going through my head. I have never been to a GreenDay concert. Katie was starrin off into space. "Oh wait there is something else." She pulled out her bag a VIP pass to backstage. Whatmore was she going to give?
"Wow." Thats all I could say....
