*2 Days Later*
By the flicker of a candlelight, the silouhette of a young woman could be made out. She was leaning over a picture of a young girl that looked very much like her. Tear stains accented the womens heart-shaped face and one last tear rolled down her cheek. "Dixie..." The women stroked the picture and then stood up and walked into another room.
*The Next Morning / Mike's House*
"Come on, Estelle, lets go!" Mike yelled throught his daughters closed door.
"Coming!" Estelle said and opened the door. she smiled and jumped into Mikes arms. "Oakland park, here we come!" Mike carried Estelle into his car and drove off. "Is Joseph gonna be there?"
"Yes, he is. And so is Uncle Billie and Jakob." Mike said and pulled into the park's parking lot. Estelle smiled again and jumped out of the van.
"Hi, Joseph!" She ran up to and hugged Joseph. "Hi Uncle Billie, Jakob." Billie smiled then waved Mike over to a bench he was sitting on. Mike sat next to Billie and watched the three kids run off.
"How's Adi?" Mike asked when he saw the kids chatting away.
"She's doing good. Ever since she got that job she's been real happy but she's also acting sort of weird..." Billie looked off into space. Mike shot him a questioning look.
"Like what?" Mike asked. Billie hesitated before answering.
"Maybe I'm just paranoid..." Billie mumbled. "Well, she talks about work all the tim e but I ggess thats a good thing. But one time.."
"What?" Mike tried to pulle the answer out of Billie.
"Nothing." Billie looked around, trying to change the subject. "Mike, where are the kids?" Mike followed Billie's gaze to the emprty swings.
"They're probably just playing somewhere else." Mike was trying to convince himself as much as he was Billie because he was now worried, too. Billie got up and looked around.
"Joseph! Jakob!" Billie cupped his hands around his mouth and called his sons names.
"Hero! Estelle!" Mike wondered if Estelle would come to her nickname, Hero. Jakob suddenly popped up in front of Billie. Fear filled his eyes and he wrapped his arms around Billie's legs. Billie squatted down to face Jakob.
"What happened?" Billie asked as he wiped his sons tears away. Mike wandered off, still calling for his daughter.
"Estelle and J-Joseph were w-walking off when a large m-man appeared in from behind the b-building. H-He told them if t-they didn't go with him, h-he would..." Jakob burst into another sob of tears. Billie hugged his son close and kissed the top of his head. He moved Jakobs hair out of his face and looked him in the eye.
"So Estelle and Joseph went with the man?" Jakob nodded and wiped his nose. Billie looked over at Mike. "You oughta come here." Mike walked over to where Billie and Jakob were and Billie stood up. He told Mike everything Jakob had said.
"What?" It took a minute for realization to hit Mike. "so they've been...kidnapped."
