"Hey oooh!" I screamed into the microphone and the crowd sreamed it back just as loud. I was getting used to this kinda life. Having a few gigs to play at with my band having a great time. As you can tell all of our nerves have gone out the window.
Pure Essence was playing Nice Guys Finish Last at the Bands 'r' Us day and as ususal the crowd was going wild and so was I. One person even stripped and ran through the crowd. There was about 20 to 30 other bands there, so there was some competition. During the lunch break apparently there was going to be a karaoke competition for random people to come up on stage and show us what their made of. I was guessing all you would hear would be out of tune Britany Spears wanna be's.
We eventually finished the song and gathered where we had all of our stuff piled up.
"There's some pretty tough competition out there," Louise said looking at a guy band who was performing. They were playing The Anthem by Good Charlotte. It sound alright.
"Hey Ellie, isn't that Alan over there?" Hannah pointed to near the stage where a figure stood with a head piece on.
"He does look alot like Alan, I'll go and see." I walked all the way over to the stage and around a corner. The guy turned around and to my suprise Hannah was wrong.
"Umm hi," I just barely was able to say before I turned red.
"Hi, are you looking for someone?" The guy said fiddling with some wires.
"Well I was....well I thought I was," I laughed to myself thinking of how much of an idiot I must have just sounded.
"Ok......hey are you the lead singer of Pure Essence right?" he asked pulling out a piece of paper from his pocket.
"Um yeah" he wrote something on the piece of paper then handed it to me.
"Could you give it to your pianoist?" Oh my god this dude likes Hannah! "I think she's pretty cool" he smiled shyly.
"Yeah sure" I reassured him "I might see you around then"
"Yeah tell her I said hi"
"Ok bye"
"See ya" I turned and headed back to the girls.
"Special delivery for Hannah," I chucked the piece of papar at her smiling. She caught it and opened it.
"What's this?" She glanced at me then looked at the paper.
"That dude who WASN'T Alan has had his eye on you and he wanted me to give you his number." Hannah's mouth dropped a few inches.
"Yeah, he said you were pretty cool too!"
"Oh my god, what does he look like up close?"
"Well it's hard to tell....he kind of looks like Pete Wentz and maybe a little like Paul Walker" I raised my eyebrows at her.
"In other words HOTTY alert!" she grinned happily and shoved the paper in her pocket.
"Hey dudes, I'm going to the cafeteria do you want anything?" I offered looking around.
"Nah," Hannah said flopping down under a palm tree. Louise and Krissy just shook their heads and planted them selves down on the ground. I shrugged my shoulders.
"Your loss" and walked towards the sweet smell of froffy cappuccinos.
The line was like twenty meters long when I got there! I sighed and lined up because I knew it wasn't going to get any shorter.
One thing I realised was how rude some Americans can be. Some kids and even adults were pushing and shoving in the line. To make things worse the parents of the kids just stood there smiled, shook their heads and never did anything about it. One of the kids pushed the man behind him and of course that made a human domino chain and it came down crashing on me. I fell back on the person behind me and then I felt a hot searing liquid splash and pour down my back. Then everything went black....
