"Was it something I said?" Mike asked
"Matt has been down since Gideon has been going out more and ignoring him and me, its hard for a pre-teen boy to know his older brother ignores him" Jen explained
"He's gonna shunt me out his room isn't he" Mike remarked
"Yep and if he does what he does to me to you then you might want to keep your brush, phone, toothbrush, and clothes away" Jen explained
"He really does terrorise you" Mike remarked
"Yep but I can black-mail him even easier, come on lets do some homework its only half an hour till dinner" Jen suggested
They got there homework done and went to the dining room for dinner Matty was still in a huff and refused to talk. Gideon wasn't back yet and probably wouldn't be for a while. Jens dad wasn't home from work yet, they sat silent eating until Jens mum broke the silence.
"Jennifer what did you do today in school?" Jens mum asked
"Nothing much really" Jen said
"Thats so not true you got busted by Miss Tobias" Matty butted in
"Matthew what are you talking about?" Jens mum asked
"She put bad stuff in Miss Tobias' coffee" Matty told her mum
"Jennifer is this true and if it is what kind of bad stuff" Jens mum asked
"Okay I'll admit I helped but I didn't do the actual thing" Jen admitted
"Who did it then?" Jens mum asked
"It was a group effort" Jen improvised
"Just don't do it again" Jens mum asked
"Yes mum can me and Mike leave the table please" Jen asked

Jen and Mike left the table and went to Jens room and started playing guitar and bass to Led Zeppelin. The door got knocked but Jen and Mike didn't here it over the music the knock got louder and the person came in and unplugged the amps and Mike and Jen looked up and saw Matty.
"Matty why did you unplug the guitars" Mike asked
"Felt like it" Matty smirked
"Look Matty you have been a pain in the ass for quite a while now so stop it" Jen asked nicely
"Nope" Matty said
"How did you find out about today anyways" Jen asked
"A little thing called your diary" Matty smirked holding up a diary from his back and running from Jens room
"Matty get your ass here and give me back my diary" Jen shouted running after Matty
"Hey Gideon" Matty stopped instantly seeing his older brother there
"What do you want sprout" Gideon asked tiredly
"I got Jens diary" Matty said proudly holding the diary up
"I'm starting to not care move before I shove you" Gideon said shoving Matty out the way
"Gideon don't treat Matty like that" Jen defended Matty
"I told you not to call me Gideon I'm Gids" Gideon shouted at Jen pushing her to the wall
"I'm already pissed off 'Gids' I don't need you to push me around" Jen complained
"Whatever and Matt, give Jen her diary back, Mike you can borrow my clothes I'm going" Gideon said walking out the room
"I'm going to so get you back" Matty said sticking his tongue out and walking out

"I know how about you stay in my room in the sleeping bag" Jen suggested

Jen and Mike went back into her room and set the sleeping bag up and switched the amps off and played music quietly, Jen was worried about Matty but tried not to show it. They switched the music off when it became late and got ready for bed, they started sleeping and 15 minutes later Matty came in the room and nudged Jen.
"Jenny wake up" Matty whispered
"What is it?" Jen said waking up and sitting up
"I need your help" Matty said
"Sure sit here" Jen said patting a space on the bed
"Its about Gids" Matty started
"Call him Gideon its easier and pisses him off more" Jen told Matty
"Anyway, Gideon has been acting like I'm just an annoyance" Matty asked
"I have no clue, Gideon is just going through a fase" Jen said
"He hates me doesn't he" Matty said
"He doesn't hate you I remember when you were born he held you and said 'I love my little bro and always will' and he has always believed that" Jen told Matty

"Just leave him alone for a while and he'll be back to normal, need a hug" Jen explained
