*Still Trè's P.O.V.*
It felt like a cold hand grabbed around my heart and squeezed it hard. Jackie looked as she was going to faint again. I hoped she wouldn't.
"Oh my God" I mumbled. Jackie started to cry, so I pulled her closer. She put her arms around me and pulled in for a hug. I kissed her neck.
"Everything will be ok... " I whispered, not sure if it was true. Tears started dripping down my cheeks as well. She nodded. We sat there for about ten minutes, and then she stopped crying. I quickly dried away my tears so she couldn't see I had been crying too. I kissed her passionately, she kissed back. We went to the living room and sat down in the couch. I was the first to talk.
"So... Do you want the baby?" I asked.
"That depends on you." She said, which surprised me.
"What do you mean? I won't force you to have the baby, or to have an abortion." I said, quite shocked. Jackie smiled a little.
"No, I mean that I want to keep the baby if we're raising it together, but I can't raise it alone." She said.
"Of course I'll raise it with you! I'm not leaving you now, Jackie... " I said. She beamed.
"I love you Trè."
"I love you too Jackie. And Junior." She smirked and kissed me. I put my hand on her stomach. She laughed and put her hand next to mine.
"So we're keeping it?" I asked, thought it was important to get that clear.
"Seems like it... ... dad." She answered and kissed my cheek. I smiled.
"Dad... " I repeated, kinda tasting the word.
"That's what you are." She said, I laughed.
"And you're mum!" She laughed a bit. It was like we had grown so much the last half an hour. But I guess we didn't have any choice. If you're going to have a baby you can't act like an immature seventeen-year old, even though you are one.
"Let's go out celebrate!" I said. "I'm starving here." She laughed.
"So am I! And we can go to the park; I have to get some fresh air." I lifted her up and carried her out of the door.
"Wherever you wanna go, babe."
*Jackie's P.O.V.*
We sat down at a table by a window in the small eating place. A waiter came over to us.
"What do you want, sweetie? Remember you're eating for two now." Trè smiled and took my hand.
"I think I'll have a hamburger and a beer."
"No, not beer. She's pregnant" Trè said to the waiter. Trè seemed proud.
"Ok, then I'll have a coke"
"I'll have the same." Trè said.
The waiter took our menus and went away. Trè looked at me, his eyes sparkling.
"You don't mind if I tell people, do you? Or shall I shut up?" I smirked.
"It's not a secret, Trè. We're keeping it, remember?" He beamed.
"How can I forget?"
We finished eating, and then went to the park. Trè lifted me up and started spinning me around.
"TRÈ!" I yelled and laughed. He laughed as well.
"What? I'm strong, and you're really small." But he put me down. We lied down on the grass, I was a little dizzy. He put one arm around my shoulders and I rested my head on it. He put the other hand on my stomach.
"Aww, young love! How cute... " Some old ladies said as they walked by. They probably thought we couldn't hear them. I looked at Trè, and he smiled to me. Then we started to get to know each other better. We talked about my life and my childhood. And about his life and his band, Green Day. It was weird, I knew almost nothing about him, and still I loved him so much, and I was going to have a child with him...
*Trè's P.O.V.*
We were in the park for a few hours, just talking. Then it started getting chilly. I saw that Jackie was cold, so I gave her my jacket. She smiled and put it on.
"Thanks Trè, you're so kind... " I felt happy every time she said something like that to me; I wasn't used to getting compliments.
"Listen hun, I'll walk you home, and then I'll go to my place and pick up some clothes. And I think I'll drop by to see Billie and Mike, tell them the news. You don't mind, do you?" She took my hand and kissed my cheek.
"Of course not, babe." So I walked her home, kissed her softly and started walking down the street, heading for my house. That's when I started crying...
I sat down at a bench at the street and put my head in my hands. I knew this wasn't going to be easy. Jackie and I would probably move in together, and I had to get a job. But I was sure it was worth it. I loved her so much, I couldn't even describe it. After a few minutes I got up, my eyes were puffy from crying. Since Mike's house was closer than mine, I decided to go to him first. I rang the doorbell, and waited for him to open up.
"Hi Trè! Get in here you old bastard!" He laughed. Then he saw I had been crying, and was serious. "Something wrong, man? Girl problems, maybe?" He dragged me inside, pushed me down on his couch and gave me a beer.
"Yeah... Sort of." I sighed and told him everything. He stared at me when I finished.
"Jackie's pregnant? With you? And you're going to KEEP IT??" he was really shocked, but I didn't knew if it was in a good or bad way. I just nodded.
"Wow... That's great, I guess! A little early maybe... But great anyway. Congratulations Trè, or should I say dad?" I grinned. He gave me a hug; we had been friends for a long while, so it didn't feel awkward. "So, have you told Billie?" I shook my head.
"No, not yet. Your house is closest, so I went here first."
"I'll call him and get him over here. Don't worry, I won't tell him." I shrugged, and Mike grabbed the phone. "Hey Billie, it's Mike. Get your skinny ass over here, Trè's got something to tell ya. Ok, great. Cya." Mike hung up and sat down next to me, I was unusually quiet. "He'll be right over. Wow, this kinda makes me uncle!" Mike said after a little while. He seemed to like the thought, and I started to laugh.
"Yeah, of course! You and Billie are Junior's uncles."
"Am I uncle?" Billie asked surprised as he entered the room, unlikely short after the phone call. Me and Mike jumped.
"Fuck, man! You scared the shit outta me!" I yelled, my heart felt like it skipped about ten beats. Billie laughed.
"Calm down, I was right outside when Mike called. I wanted to surprise you!"
"Or kill us... " Mike mumbled, his heart still beating fast.
"So tell me, what's with the uncle thing. And who's Junior?" Billie asked and sat down on the other side of me. I blushed a bit when he mentioned my baby's nickname and Mike laughed.
"I think Trè should tell you, it's his news!" So I told him about Junior...
"YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME??" Billie yelled at the top of his lungs. I jumped slightly.
"Man, calm down!" Mike shouted, a bit shocked. Billie stared at me, his eyes almost falling out of his head. Then he smiled widely and threw his arms around me and almost choked me in a tight hug.
"That's fantastic! God, am I dreaming?" He said, still hugging me. I think my face was starting to turn blue when Mike started to laugh.
"Two things Billie: 1: you're squeezing the shit outta Trè, 2: It's Trè's kid, not yours!" Billie let go of me and blushed a little.
"Yeah, but hey! The two of you are like brothers to me, I'm just happy, man." He almost seemed a little sad when he said it... I looked at him.
"Something wrong Billie?" I asked. He stared down at his shoes, not wanting to look me in the eyes.
"This is the end of Green Day, right? I mean, you're probably getting a job, and you have to take care of Jackie and the kid... It won't be enough time!" I stared at him.
"Billie! Don't talk like that. I'll get a job, but I'm still free at the afternoon, evenings and weekends, right? And Jackie understands how important music is to me; we can practise in the afternoon, maybe at my place. Then Jacky will be there to. THIS IS NOT THE END OF GREEN DAY!!" I screamed the last sentence. Mike and Billie looked at me as though I was mad.
"God Trè, you're scaring me!" Billie laughed, but I could tell by the look in his face he was happy and relieved.
I stayed at Mike's house for an hour, and then I went home to my place. I took a shower and threw some clothes in a bag. Then I remembered something, something I could show Jackie. A photo album with pictures of me as a baby, and me, Mike and Billie, not as babies... A few minutes later I went to Jackie.
*Jackie's P.O.V.*
I made myself a cup of tea and sat down in my couch. Our couch I corrected myself and smiled. Trè would probably move in here, my house was bigger then his. Then my cell rang. I picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jackie, It's Mike" I smiled. Trè had obviously told him already.
"And me!" Billie Joe shouted.
"And Billie" Mike sighed. I smiled widely.
"Hey guys! What's up?" I asked.
"You tell us!" Mike laughed. I had to laugh a bit myself. Then Billie Joe grabbed the phone.
"Hey Jackie, we just wanted to say that we're happy for you and Trè! It's so cool, I'll be the best uncle ever!" I laughed again.
"That's great Billie, I bet you will."
"Hey how 'bout me?? Won't I be the best uncle ever?" Mike yelled.
"You two will be the best uncles ever, both of you." I said and grinned.
"Great! And we just wanted to say that we're here for both of you... So if you wanna talk or something just give us a call" Mike said.
"Aww, thank you, that's so sweet." I said.
"Honey, I'm home!" Trè yelled from the hall.
"Look guys, I gotta go. Trè's home." The boys laughed.
"Yeah, we heard!" they said in union.
"But I'll talk to you later, buy"
"Buy!"
I hung up and Trè came into the living room.
"Hey there, sexy." He said and kissed me. "Who were you talking to?"
"Mike and Billie. They wanted to congratulate." He smiled.
"Hey, I brought this; I thought we could take a look at it." He said and took a photo album up of his bag. It was big, blue and looked really old. I beamed and grabbed it.
"Pictures of you?" I guessed, and opened it. A cute baby was smiling toothless back at me. He had bright blue eyes.
"Oh my god! You were the cutest I've ever seen!" I said. He really was.
"Were?" He asked, and pretended to be hurt. I laughed.
"You are, babe, of course you still are." I said. He grinned, and kissed my cheek.
"Have you got any baby pictures of you? I thought we could find out how Junior might look like." He asked.
"Junior?" I asked and beamed. His face went red.
"Well, we still don't know if it's a boy or girl, so that's what I call it." I smiled and kissed him.
"That's nothing to blush about. It's very sweet." I said. He looked relieved. "If you look in the drawer over there you might find one." I said, talking about where to find an album. He found it and sat down next to me. We looked through both albums, talking and joking as we did.
"I hope it get's your eyes" I said, smiling.
"But not my nose" he said and laughed.
"Why? There's nothing wrong with your nose." I said and kissed it.
"It's huge and ugly." He answered.
"I love your nose." I said, I still couldn't see why he didn't like it.
"Hmm, yeah but you're weird!" He laughed.
*Trè's P.O.V.*
The doorbell rang, several times. The person out there was obviously impatient. I looked at the clock, 6 PM. I was about to get up and open when they got in themselves.
"Okay rabbits, break it up and get dressed! You've got company!" I heard Billie yelled. I smirked and shook my head.
"We're in the living room!" I shouted. Billie laughed hard.
"Fuck man, can't you keep it going in the bed room?" I sighed and got up. Then walked in the kitchen where Mike and Billie were. They were smiling and laughing like they were drunk.
"We're not doing anything! Are you two drunk?" I was getting suspicious. Mike shook his head.
"Actually no. We're just in a good mood." He said. I couldn't smell anything, and if they really were drunk they wouldn't try to hide it. I rolled my eyes and walked back in the living room. They ran in front of me and sat down on each side of Jackie. Each of them put one arm around her shoulders. She just laughed. I pretended to be jealous.
"You guys stealin' my girl?" I asked. They just looked at me with innocent in their eyes. Jackie got up with a smile on her face and went over to me. She put her arms around me.
"Hah, she's still mine, guys!" I said and stuck out my tongue at them like a two-year old. They laughed.
"Well Mikey, I guess you're still the only one for me" Billie said theatrical. Mike laughed.
"What 'bout Adie?" He asked. Billie shrugged.
"Actually she broke up with me, just a couple of hours ago. She met another one at the bar last night." I was quite shocked; I thought they were happy together and loved each other... Jackie went over to the couch and sat down next to him again.
"Oh Billie, I'm so sorry for you." She said and gave him a hug. I sat down in another couch on the other side of the table.
"It's ok; I actually planned on break up with her after what she said to you about Trè. This only made it easier. I hate dumping people." I was confused, what had Adie said to Jackie about me?
"What did Adie say about me?" I asked. Mike and Billie looked at Jackie.
"You haven't told him?" Mike said.
"Well, we're outta here" Billie said and dragged Mike with him.
"Bye!" They both shouted from the entry and shut the door.
"Jackie, what did Adie say?" I said. I had gone over to her, and she refused to look me in the eyes.
"Well, she was the one who said that I was just a one night stand to you and that you didn't fall in love with anyone and probably didn't with me either." I felt rage growing inside of me.
"That bitch! What does she know?" I said angry. Jackie grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes.
"Please don't be mad at me, Trè. I didn't want to believe it, but I wasn't sure if I was important to you at that moment." I softened.
"Why would I be mad at you, Jackie? It's that Adie-bitch I'm mad at." She seemed to be relieved and I pulled her in for a kiss.
Not knowing that something similar was happening at Mike's house...
Billie was kissing Mike...
It felt like a cold hand grabbed around my heart and squeezed it hard. Jackie looked as she was going to faint again. I hoped she wouldn't.
