With No Direction Home, chapter 1
HOTEL CALIFORNIA
"Welcome to the hotel california," was Selene's first thought when she entered home, at least what she was forced to call home. "You can check in anytime but you can never leave," she whispered to herself as she sat on the bed. The room was dark, cuz it was midnight. However she was on her way out. She could see the leaves falling from the trees as she took her clothes off, she took a look around. There wasn't much she could see exept for shadows and 'ghosts' as she called her cats.
The neighbors band was playing and the noise was too annoying for her, so Selene changed her clothes as quickly as she could an she left the place. One drunk guy from next door yelled at her, "Where are you heading, party is here!!!" She gasped and continued walking to the subway station. The guy followed her. "Dont you wanna talk?" asked the guy. She didnt answer at first, but then she said
"I can talk to myself." She turned around the corner and she disappeared from the guy's view.
The subway was almost empty and the hedor of it, didn't bother her. She took out a cigarette and leant on the window, letting out the smoke, letting in, out, in, out, in over and over again. A soft tune was played on her brain. There was a newspaper on the sit, she took it as she whispered, "Welcome to Hotel California." Man she loved that song, anyway she took it and read the headlines: Make sex not war, and the rolling stones start me up.
Starting to read, she was interrupted by a blonde tall guy that was smoking too. "Anything interesting?" he asked.
"Just some head lines that will change the world," she answered sarcartically.
"Living the change, arent you?" the guy said and she left out a single laugh. He smiled and shook her hand saying, "Mike Dirnt, hey." She said,
"Some just call me Lucifer." And she left.
