Billie Joe, How Could You?!?, chapter 11
Billie felt like he had been punched in the stomach. He couldn't breath. His chest started to tighten up. 'Oh no I can't be having a panic attack now,' he thought, holding Cassie tighter. She looked up at him.
"Are you okay?" she asked with a worried look.
"Yeah," he said, still holding her tightly. Cassie looked up at Bille still concerned. He let go of her and stood up. He ran his hands through his hair, pacing back and forth.
"Are you sure your alright?"
"Yeah, I have a history of panic attacks," Billie said sitting back on the bed, after a few minutes of pacing. He was still fidgeting. Cassie leaned over and kissed him. She would do anything to make him feel better. He started to calm down a bit just by her touch.
"Better now?" she asked. He nodded and hugged her.
"I better go, I don't want you to get in more trouble," Billie said as he started to get up and open the window. He started to climb out the window, but Cassie grabbed his wrist.
"Don't go," she softly whispered. Billie nodded and clambered back into her room. He hugged her, tightly, like nothing in the world could pull them apart. She leaned her head on his chest, and soon drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
*Billie's POV*
After a little while Cassie had fallen asleep in my arms. I smiled and kissed her forehead. She looked so peaceful. I still was a little shaky from my recent panic attack, but with her in my arms, I felt nothing could go wrong. I leaned my head against hers, and soon enough, I too had drifted off to sleep. I was awoken by Cassie shaking me, abruptly.
"Huh, what?" I asked stifling a yawn.
"My mom's coming upstairs. I heard her call my name," Cassie said.
"I got to go," I said before swiftly kissing her soft lips and clambering onto the tree branch. I slid down the trunk and ran towards my house.
*Cassie's POV*
I watched Billie run out of my backyard. I laughed every time he stumbled. Soon I heard my door creak open. I turned to find my mom standing in the doorway. She walked into my room and sat on my bed. I looked away.
"I'm sorry sweety," she said.
"Sorry doesn't cut it," I whispered.
"I know I was a little harsh, but you scared me. I didn't want to find out that my baby girl had been killed."
"Mom, you should of trusted me. I not a baby anymore," I said looking her in the eyes.
"I know that. I've decided to lighten your punishment. You can see those boys again in a couple of weeks. I know you've had your eyes on the neighbor boy. I also have a surprise for you," she said nudging me in the side with her elbow. I slapped it away and hugged her.
"So what's the surprise?"
"Can't tell you. Now go to bed," she said.
I nodded and changed into a pair of baggy pajama pants and a silk tank top. I soon laid down on my bed. She walked out of my room and switched off my lights. I looked up at my ceiling and soon dritfted off to sleep, my dreams contained of Billie that night. I woke up to the sounds of pebbles hitting my window. I looked out and saw Billie. I quickly opened the window.
"What are you doing? It's 5:30 in the morning," I hissed, glancing at my clock and then back at him .
"Come down here," he whispered back. I sighed and grabbed my robe. I slipped my slippers on and tried my best to climb out my window. Soon I was on the ground. I ran to Billie and flung my arms around his neck. He smiled and kissed my lips.
"Run away with me," he whispered.
"Billie I can't. Where would we go?" I asked.
"I don't know. We could steal Mike's car keys and drive off to Mexico. Anything is better then not being able to see you anymore."
"It sounds tempting, but I have good news. I'm allowed to hang out with you in a few weeks."
His smile grew wider. It looked like a weight had been lifted off of his shoulders. He kissed me again, but more pasionately. I placed my had to his cheek. I felt his hand creep up the back of my shirt. I pulled away and smiled.
"Can you come over to my house?"
"I guess. Atleast until 6:00. Then I have to take a shower."
"You can take one at my house," Billie said raising his eyebrows up and down. I giggled and nodded. I grabbed his hand and we walked to his house.

They walked hand in hand until they reached Billie's front door. He let go and opened the door for Cassie. She giggled and then walked inside. Mike and Tre were sitting in the living room waiting for Billie to get back.
"What are you guys doing up?" Billie asked when he noticed the two.
"We heard you get up and wanted to know where you went," Mike said.
"Now I know where he went," Tre said with a crooked smile.
"He went to get me," Cassie said with smile. She jumped onto the couch in between Tre and Mike. She nuzzled up against Tre to make Billie jealous.
"Hey, she's mine," Billie whined before shoving Tre off the couch. Mike and
Cassie started cracking up as Billie sat next to her. Tre whimpered on the floor and pretended to cry.
"Fuck this," he siad then getting up and walking into the kitchen. Soon things being thrown across the floor could be heard.
"Shit, not again," Billie said before getting up. He walked into the kitchen to find Tre throwing boxes of cereal on the floor.
"We're out of Lucky Charms," Billie said picking up some of the boxes.
"Damn it," Tre whispered before walking out into the living room, leaving Billie to clean up the mess. After cleaning up the mess Billie soon walked into the room.
He sat down on the couch next to Cassie. She leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed. He looked down at her and smiled.
"Want to take your shower now?" he asked eagerly.
"Yeah," Cassie said with a devilish smile. Billie got up and literally pulled her into the bathroom. He locked the door and turned to face Cassie. He smiled and began kissing her neck. He pushed her into the shower door. He began to untie the drawstring on her pajama pants as she undid his. He soon slipped her shirt off. Cassie reached back into the open shower door and turned on the water. Once she was in her bra and panties, she took off Billie's shirt. In a few minutes all their clothes were off and they walked into the shower. Billie was the first to get wet. The water was cold on his bare skin. He jumped a bit. Cassie giggled and kissed him pasionately. He began kissing her heavily. He pushed her back into the shower wall, but placed his hand behind her head, so she wouldn't get a concussion.

*Tre's POV*
Why does he have to do this to me? Why did he have to take away the girl I love? Why? These thoughts poured through my mind as Billie took Cassie upstairs. Rage was burning inside of me. I realized my fists were clenched, and Mike was giving me weird looks.
"What?" I asked loosening up a bit.
"Nothing," he whispered looking away. He got up and walked into the kitchen. I followed. I went through the boxes of cereal and threw a box of Honey Nut Cheeros at him. He chuckled and took it over to the table. He poured himself and me a bowl. I smiled and sat down at the table and began eating. Mike joined me, with his cup of coffee in his hands. A half an hour later Cassie and Billie came down the stairs, whispering something. I glared at Billie as he came into the kitchen. He was hanging all over Cassie. I knew she was his girl, but it felt like he ruined my chances with her. Why did she have to choose him? Why couldn't she have chosen me? My thoughts were interupted by Mike clearing his throat. I sighed and finished my breakfast.
"I better go. My parents will be waking up in a bit, and they'll be pissed if I'm gone," Cassie said before kissing Billie. She ran out the door and back to her house.
"Are you okay?" she asked with a worried look.
