Remember me in the end, chapter 3
Shawnez stood up. She looks wonderful. I'm soo lucky to be with her. Mike pulled up to the front of her house and I opened the door for her. I told Mike I was going to sit in the back with her. Mike drove off down the street.
Shawnez Pov**
I can't wait to watch Billie perform. Billie looks excited too.
End of Pov**
I was thinking about the songs we were going to play when something got my attention...Where is John?
"Erm...Mike?" Mike looked up. "Yeah what?"
"Didja happen to call John and tell him what time to meet him?" With that Mike stopped the car. "Um...no?" I rolled my eyes. How can someone so forgetful forget like Mike to call John?
"Ok well we will call him when we get to Gilman." I told Mike. Mike nodded and continued to drive.
We reached Gilman and Mike showed her around while I went looking for a nearby phone.
I quickly dialed John.....
"Oh please be there..." After a few rings John picked up. "John buddy, where are you?"
There was a long pause between John and I. "Uh Billie I was going to tell you but I never got around to it."
"Ok?"
"I wanna quit the band."
My heart froze, my blood ran old I felt like getting upset. "Um..why?" I asked him quietly.
"Billie face it. We are graduating next 2 weeks and we're not going to get anywhere."
I didn't know what to say..
"By the way Billie you need a better drummer." "No John you're just fine."
I tried to reason with him but he wouldn't listen. "Ok." That's all I could say quietly. Then I hung up.
I turned to where Mike and Shawnez where. How was I going to tell Mike?
So I took a deep breath and told him. Mike was upset. "That's it. We're going down."
Also Shawnez looked upset because she really wanted us to play.
We left our instruments and went home. Mike drove Shawnez back to her house.
"Shawnez I'm really sorry about not playing."
"No it's ok. I can hear you play later." When Shawnez had said that she kissed me.
I gave her a quick hug and turned for the car....
