Green Day?... Or Adrienne?, chapter 9

"News?" Billie Joe asked, suddenly appearing at his wife's side, resting the backs of his thighs against the table as well.

"Mmhmm," Adrienne nodded, leaning in towards Billie Joe for a kiss.

Billie Joe pressed his full, pouty lips against his wife's soft and rosy ones, then pulled away. "Well, what is it?"

Adrienne looked at the other two men that were standing in the room. "Ah, can you come with me for a minute?" she asked, turning her sparkling brown eyes back on Billie Joe.

"Sure thing babe," Billie Joe answered, stepping around his wife, and sticking his hands out behind him as he walked, indicating that he wanted to hold hands with Adrienne.

Adrienne laced her fingers through Billie Joe's, following him into the back room.

Billie Joe seated himself on the black couch he had laid on the previous day, when his thoughts had been solely of Adrienne.

Adrienne sat next to him, crossing her legs and jiggling the one on top.


"So, what's up?" Billie Joe asked, only after hearing his wife expell a nervous breath.

"Well, I was wondering. What would you think of having another baby?" the dreadlocked beauty asked, answering her husband's question with a question.

Billie Joe shrugged. "I guess it'd be fine. Why so suddenly though?" he asked, lifting one bushy black eyebrow.

Adrienne shrugged her small shoulders. "I was just wondering," she answered.

Billie Joe eyed Adrienne for a moment. "Okay," he said at last, flashing the woman of his dreams a million-dollar-smile.

Adrienne grinned back, and the couple leaned in for another kiss.






Well, actually, there was a third party involved in that kiss.
