Falling In Love Again, With The New Kid, chapter 1

*Abs P.O.V *

"Come on get up."

"Err errrr," I mumbled.

"Come on time to move your lazy ass NOW."

"Yeah, yeah I'm getting up!" I yelled at my mum.

Why did she have to interrupt me when I was having such a good dream about me and Frank (my imaginary friend, I get bored on the bus in the afternoons so I made Frank to take away the boredom and now he is so hot!).

I yawned then stretched and got up and got ready for school. just another boring day at boring old school. I got dressed into my uniform and then packed my bag, and ran out the door chasing after the bus. Luckily the bus driver saw me and stopped. I got on and went up the back and sat down with my friends. I realised there was a new kid on the bus I could tell because he hasn't gotten a uniform yet. I was wondering if he had any friends. But thought it's probably better if I just leave him alone.

When we got to school we all went to our lockers. First I had music then maths, that's great just great. I mean music was ok but the math teacher had something against me for some reason. Probably because I keep talking and don't listen to what he is saying, and pass notes behind his back. But I can't help that maths so boring.

The new kid was in my music class he had a good beat, because all in music he was tapping his fingers to a little beat while pretending to listen to the teacher like everyone else.

Maths was fun for once. I ticked off the teacher. I was talking to my friends about how were going to meet up after school tomorrow and the teacher got so annoyed at me that he sent me out of class. But lucky for me I always tell him a fake name a name of one of the smart kids and he actually believes me. So I can't get in trouble. So I went and sat behind one of the buildings and cracked up laughing, I was also thinking of the new kid.

At recess my friends and I were sitting on one side of a pathway with the new kid sitting not far from us. I saw Gemma go up to him and start teasing him because he hasn't got a uniform and he was wearing black. So I decided to go say hello to her I started walking towards them. As soon as Gemma saw me she started running away, I don't know why but ever since the day I punched her and she fell unconscious she has been scared of me for some reason, so has many other people.

"Hey thanks for that," the new kid said.

"It's ok, so what's your name?" I said.

"My name's Tre Cool but you can call me Tre."

"Hey I'm Abs, you wanna come join us?"

"Yeah sure."

I took him back to the group and introduced him. My friends thought it was cool to have another member of the gang.

"So do you play any instruments?" said Jesse.

"Yeah I play the drums," Tre said.

"Cool, I'm learning," I said.

"So were do you live?" said Mike.

"Oh I live in Bradbury," said Tre.

"Same here, I live in Stanley street," I said.

"So do I, I'm number 19," said Tre.

"Oh so you're the new kid that moved in down the road, I'm at number 22," I said.

The bell rang so we had to go to class. I realised I had double Italian.

"Hey do you know where the language block is?" said Tre.

"Yeah I've got to go there as well, I'll show you," I said.

I took him to where it used to be before school ripped it down; I guess they haven't fixed up the timetables yet.

"Ok this looks kind of unusual for a language block," said Tre.

"Well this is were it was before it got ripped down."

"It got ripped down?"

"Yeah it was costing too much to keep the building so they ripped it down."

"So where are we meant to have language then?"

"Well we could go to language but it's more fun to do this."

"Do what?"

"Lay down and talk about what you think they are going to do, it's actually better to do this, the teacher is a bludge but it's so boring to listen to talk about her life story."

Tre gave a little laugh.

"Are you serious? she talks about her life story?" said Tre.

"Yeah trust me all it is, is her saying well when I went to this country I did this and that and this and then they all laughed at me," I said in my best impression of the teacher

I gave a little giggle.

"So do you want to come over my house this arvo?" I said.

"Sorry I got to unpack boxes and fix my room up the way I want it."

"I'll come over and help you then."

"Nah, you don't have to."

"Seriously it's ok I'm home alone anyway."

"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" asked Tre.

"Nope, why?"

"Aren't only kids meant to get special treatment?"

"Yeah but not in my family, I get neglection. Opps please don't tell anyone I told you about the neglection," I said.

"Why?"

"Because we've gotten in trouble with the cops a couple of times because of it, and I can't stand living in a foster home."

"Sure I won't tell anyone."

"Seriously foster homes are scary."

He laughed.

The bell for lunch had gone so we headed towards the pathway we sat at recess with the gang. I and the girls went to the canteen to get our lunch while the guys sat down with Tre.


*Tre's P.O.V*

Abs is so hot I couldn't stop staring at her through "language". I couldn't believe my eyes. I mean like I've seen heaps of hot chicks before but none as hot as her, I so can't wait till this arvo when she comes over maybe then I'll have a chance at trying then, I hope so.

I sat down with the guys at lunch while the girls went off somewhere.

"So Tre, what did you guys do?" said Mike.

"Well all we did was sit down and talk about stuff," I said.

"But what did you talk about?" said Mike interested for some reason.

"About what we think the teacher would be doing," I said.

"That doesn't sound like Abs," said Billie.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"Well this one time she," Billie began.

"Do you really want to fall down dead right now?" Abs interrupted.

"Yeah, if it's with you," joked Billie.

"Ha ha you're so very funny," said Abs.

"You really think so? maybe I could be a comedian one day," said Billie.

Then all the girls came over and sat down.

"So what was Billie talking about?" I said.

"Don't worry they're just being idiots, like usual," said Abs.

"Ok so one time Abs," Billie started again.

"Billie," Abs yelled at him.

He got up so Abs started chasing him around a garden. Everyone started laughing at them so Abs came back and sat down. Soon after Billie came back as well and sat down.

"You know you should be watching your back," said Abs.

"Oh 'cause you're going to jump on me again," replied Billie.

"Fuck you Billie, you really have to be an asshole, don't you?" said Abs.

She got up and walked off. Sammy got up as well so I got up and we chased after her till we caught up with her.

"What did Billie mean by "again"?" I said confused.

"Don't worry about it I'll tell you later," Abs said.

"Are you sure he wants to know?" said Sammy.

"Maybe not," Abs said.

"Oh come, I want to know," I said.

"Fine, but I'll tell you later," she said.

We went and sat down behind one of the buildings where there was no one else but us three. Sammy went to the bathroom so I had a chance to talk to Abs.

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Nope, used to but then he turned out to be a fucking prick."

"Ok so I'm guessing that's Billie then."

"Ding ding ding, you guessed correctly," she said sarcastically.

She put her head down. I could see tears forming in her eyes and I could tell she was trying to hold them back. I put her head on my shoulder.

Sammy came back and pocked her head around the corner to see what we were doing. I saw her quickly take her head back around so I couldn't see her.

"Sammy you can come around the corner I know your there," I said

She came around the corner and sat down next to Abs. Abs sat up straight still with her head down.

"I know how you feel all guys are assholes," said Sammy.

"Hey," I said.

"Sorry but it's the truth," said Sammy.

"Fine, then I know when I'm not wanted," I said.

I got up and started walking away.

"No, stay," said Abs.

"Why should I when I know I'm not wanted?" I said.

"Please just stay I need more than one person to be with me right now," said Abs.

I knew it I had gotten to her yeah that is so good. But I still feel sorry for what Billie did to her even though I don't what happened.

So I went and sat back down. Then the bell went. Well now I have English and Personal Development. Abs walked off in a hurry which left me and Sammy.

"I know what your trying to do you can't fool me," said Samm.

"What are you talking about?"

"Stop trying to fool me I can see right through you."

"Seriously what the fuck are you talking about?"

"You are trying to get Abs to fall for you but trust me she is smarter than that one day she is going to break your heart by saying no so stop it she can tell what's going on."

I was confused so I walked off to English. All we did in English was read some stupid book all lesson so instead I was thinking about what Sammy said was it really true. Then all of a sudden the bell went so I went to PD.

I sat up the back waiting for Abs to arrive with a seat next to me. I saw Sammy come in and sit down next to me.

"You know you really should stop trying to get her she is not going to fall for you"
"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean, just stop ok."

"Ok but I know the reason you're doing this, your doing this because you're jealous."

"You really think I'm jealous, then you are terribly mistaken."

"I bet you are jealous just because you don't have guys going after you."

Just then Abs came in and sat next to Sammy so I didn't get to talk to her through PD, but she said she would show me what bus to catch to get home without Sammy.

All through PD I was thinking of her and how mean Sammy is. PD was boring well most classes are but anyway. I got so bored that I started tapping a small tune I had stuck in my head. When the song finally got out of my head the bell went finally I could talk to Abs by myself.

I packed away my stuff and got ready to go and then waited for Abs to finish. When she finished she showed me where we line up for the bus. So we went and waited in line.

"So has Sammy talked to you?" I said.

"Yeah something about something I wasn't listening."

"She keeps on trying to attack me with her words for some reason."

"Yeah you just have to watch out she tries to take over my life for some reason."

"Ok I will."


*Abs P.O.V*

Oh my God I am falling for Tre, I can't help myself, I can't do this to myself again, I have to stop, but he is so hot, I can't help it, oh no I'm talking to myself in my head I have to stop oh no I'm doing it again ok I am stopping now.

"Hey the bus is here," I said.

"Are you sure that's our bus?"

"Yeah it goes right by our house."

We got on the bus and sat close to the back. I got on one of the seats first.

"I would normally let Frank sit next to me but since you're here you can sit there if you want or the one behind, I really don't mind," I said.

He decided to sit next to me.

"So who's Frank?"

"Well before you came I was all alone so I made Frank so I wouldn't get bored."

"Oh, I see," he said confused.

"So are you going to tell me about Billie?" he said.

I went quiet and started to cry again. He put my head on his shoulder again.

"It's all right, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to," he said.

"I do, but I can't help but cry while he just has a joke about it."

"It's ok, I don't mind if I know or not."

"You do, I can tell."

"Honestly, I don't mind."

"You do but I will tell you but when we get back to my place so we are alone without nosey people sneaking behind the seat trying to listen in," I said loudly.

Just then Kurt stood up from behind the seat and went and sat down with his friends. From some reason he wants to spread rumours about me for no reason. He must like me because he is always following me around without me knowing but I can tell he is there.

"Does he always do that?" he said.

"Yeah I don't know why but he is always following me around, I think he must like me or something," I joked.

The bus finally stopped in front of my house and we both got off.

"Did you want to come for a sec while I get changed out of my uniform?" I said

"Yeah sure, I don't mind"

I went and opened the house and I told him to sit in the lounge room while I got dressed in my room. I picked my favourite black top, three-quarter black pants my black converse shoes and odd knee high socks, one was black and white stripes while the other was red and black stripes. When I finished I went back to the lounge room.

"Wow," he said.

"What?"

"Oh nothing."

"Come on spit it out."

"What did you want me to spit my saliva out?"

"No, my parents would kill me."

"Fine, then I won't."

"Do you want a drink?"

"No, it's alright, did you want to go to my house now?"

"Yeah I just have to go to the bathroom first."

I went to the bathroom and Tre followed me without me knowing. When I had finished I washed my hands then opened the door, to my surprise Tre was standing there, our lips touched, we were standing there like that for a long time but then I broke away.

"I shouldn't have done that," we both said together.

"I'm really sorry about that, I shouldn't have done that," he said.

"You can do it again if you want to."

So he leaned in, our lips touched again, I rapped my arms around his neck, he opened my mouth with the tip of his tongue, our tongue's touched each other. He broke away.

"I really shouldn't of done that, it's just that I couldn't," he started.

"It's ok, you weren't the one that started it, besides, I liked it," I interrupted.

"It was and it is entirely my fault."

"Don't blame yourself, it was my fault, I haven't done that since Billie," I paused.

"Since Billie what?"

"Don't worry."

"Please tell me."

"Fine, ok, once when I was Billie's girlfriend, we went to a party, someone spiked my drink so I fell unconscious he found me, and took me back to his place that wasn't far away, well all I can say is I woke up in the morning with him laying next to me."

"Oh, ok I promise I won't tell anyone."

"It's ok, everyone at school already knows, but still it's best if you don't tell anyone."

"Ok, I won't."

I went into my room and he followed me I laid down on the bed and started to cry. He came and sat next to me.

"I'm, sorry I can't help it," I said.

"It's ok; I know how you must feel."

"No you don't, no one does."

"Sorry I can't help it, people think they know but they actually don't, it's like he has taken away my personal rights I'm just so upset about it, I know I should get over it but I can't," I said.

"You're not the only one out there, you know that?"

"Yeah, I know, did you want to go to your house now?"

"Are you sure you're ok?"

"Yeah, I just need one thing."

"What's that?"

"Another kiss from you."

He started leaning towards my head.

"You know I was only joking."

"Yeah, I know, but I want to."

"Fine then."

I sat up, and our lips touched again this time I opened my mouth without him having to try and squeeze it open. That was the best I have ever been kissed by a guy, I don't mean to be self centred but I have kissed loads and loads of guys that I have even lost count, but for some reason he was the best, he must have had practise.

When we had finished he wiped away my tears.

"I feel a lot better now." I said.

"I can tell, did you want to go to my place now?"

"Yeah sure."

"Just one thing."

"Yeah what is it?"

"Did you want to go out?"

"Loved to, but ah just don't tell anyone."

"Why?"

"Well we kind of have this thing in the group that we can't go out with a new member for a week."

"Why's that?"

"So the group knows what you're like."

"Oh I see, we better start going before mum finds out I'm not home yet."

"Sure."

We headed to his house.


*Tre's P.O.V*

Oh my God I can't believe Abs let me kiss her like that, I guess it's just that she is so lonely. But still it was good to see she let me do it.

We got to my house; we snuck in and went up the stairs to my room. I locked the door so no one could get in. She helped me move all my stuff, surprisingly she is strong. After we had finished moving all the stuff she sat on my bed and I sat on a chair. Suddenly she got up and walked over to me, she made my hair spiky.

"I like cheeky guys," she whispered in my ear.
