Hello, chapter 1
He drove to the same school he drove to everyday, to pick up two of his three precious children, the other child resided in New York with her mother.
He arrived outside the school and reached the play ground, just as the school bell rang, thankfully his children raced out just before the down pour, he had previously noticed the rain clouds sneaking from the sky, as if they were eagerly coming to play.
Even as he gathered his children and got them safelt into the car, his thoughts couldn't help but linger back...back to what he lost.
Has no one told you she's not breathing? echoed throughout his head, in monotone.
Hello, I'm your mind, giving you someone to talk to. continued the familiar, yet unrecognizable voice in which he took solace in.
Hello</>
He finally reached home, getting his...their children comfortable and settled. Watching tv, eating a meal, or finishing homework. He turned to his room, to be alone...which he did a lot lately. He'd become a completely different person...since losing what he lost.
He sat in the wee-dark, knowing only if he could smile and not believe he could wake up...from his tormenting...and hellish dream.
[i]Don't try to fix me I'm not brokencame the voice again.
Hello...I'm the lie, living for you so you can hide
He couldn't stop thinking now, as the voice tormented and twisted him, of what he lost...his love...his beautiful wife....of so many memories...though so few years. She'd been fone fore a few months now...but he still couldn't get over the fact...he'd never see her again, never kiss her...
Don't cry
Never hold her again...
He thought and thought, the days going by and everyone had pretty much gotten passed the fact he</b was gone...even the children could once again find happiness (though only one had been a product of [b]his and her love, the other children had grown attached to her...) But not him. He couldn't live his life and act like everything was perfect...like nothing was wrong, he couldn't live like that...he couldn't live like he used to...
Then came the voice again.
Hello...I'm still here
he sat up with a jolt , finally realizing what...no who the voice was that haunted him yet kept him sane was...it was...her.
All that's left of yesterday
She was speaking to him , trying to give him a message he never could get...until now. He understood it all, he had to go one living, not only for his sake, but for everyone else around him who loved him...he could be sad...but he still...had...to...live.
Another year passed, it was the anniversary of her death, he loaded the children into the car and they headed for the cemetery, to visit their mommy....or in his case...love.
"Hello Mommy," murmered the youngest, followed by the ramblings of life happenings, muttered by the other (child).
After all was said and done by the children, it was his turn.
He gently stooped by the grave, smiling and softly laying a caressing hand on the stone.
"Hello love...I got your message...thank you. You wouldn't believe how fast the kids are growing...even Mona has grown since...well, y'know...Frankie is lively as ever, as I'm sure you can tell,"
He chuckled, then continued,
"And our little man is doing great, he's a big, badass kindergardener now...he misses you very much...as do we all. Sometimes, I'm just not sure on what to do with them...and myself...you always took care of us..."
He continued on like this for awhile, until being interupted by his impatient children.
"See? Just like you."
He added with a chuckle, and sent his kids off to the car and stooped one last time.
"Again...thank you...we'll visit soon...I love you"
His hand fluttered over the stone awhile longer, then he stood and began walking towards his vehicle.
The wind picked then picked up and he heard (causing him to walk with the first genuine smile in over a year and a half) the voice...again...
I love you too...Tre'...
