Say it, before it's too late!, chapter 4
Markus P.O.V
I opened my eyes slowly.
"Just five more minutes!" I thought.
My head was so heavy and the banging had come back.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MARKUS, FUCKER?" I could hear somebody yell. It was May.
I remembered where I was and looked up. The room was a bit out of focus, but I saw May standing in front of Mark. By her side Billie was lying on the floor. He didn't move at all. Was he? A black-haired woman was standing by the door. She looked very familiar, but I couldn't remember. Mark hadn't noticed her, so she slowly started to walk against me. I looked at her.
"I'm Billie's wife, Adrienne!" She said and started to untie me.
"Come on! We need to get out of here!" She helped me up.
"But what about Billie and May?" I whispered.
She dragged me towards the door.
"Don't worry about them. Mark won't kill her and Billie is just faking. He winked at me!" Adrienne said. She took her cell phone and dialed a number.
"Mike! It's me! No not Billie! Adie! We need help! NOW! Get Tre and come over here!" She started to yell at him. "Yeah, we need help! Get over here! NOW!" she hangs up on him.
Then she turned to me. "Are you alright? Did he hit you or something?" she said and started to look for bruises on my body.
"No he didn't. He just gave me some very strong sleeping pills!" I said as a car stopped outside the house. Adrienne went outside to check. She came in with Mike and Tre. They were getting a 911 on why they were here. I got up on my feet and went into the room.
May's P.O.V
"Markus what are you doing?" I whispered as Markus came in the room.
"Saving you!" he said and gave me a smile. He sat down next to Billie and whispered something in his ear. Billie stood up and whistled. Tre, Mike and Adrienne came in the door. Mike, Tre, Billie and Markus started to walk slowly towards Mark. He was pointing he gun, but didn't know who to point it at. Suddenly Tre threw himself at Mark so both of them hit the ground and Mark lost his gun.
"Freeze! It's the police!" said a police officer that entered the room. He pointed at Tre and Mark with his gun. Tre got up and took Mark's gun and gave it to the police officer. I started to cry tears of joy and gave Markus a hug.
"I thought you were dead!" I whispered in his ear. He just laughed and kissed me.
"He tried to kill to people. But I think he is mentally sick!" Billie said to the officer.
The officer looked at us and said, "We need to ask you a few questions!" Markus nodded and held around me.
I was still crying. I was happy, scared and confused at the same time.
"So, do you know this guy?" the officer said and I hid my face in Markus' jacket.
"He...he's May's ex!" Markus said calmly.
"Why did he want to kill you?" the officer asked and looked at me. I didn't say anything. Markus looked at me and dried some of the tears.
"He was jealous. He is mentally ill. He was put in a mental institution. He must have escaped!" I said and looked at my feet.
"You should let a doctor look at that leg, young lady!" The officer said and gave Markus a strict look before he went outside.
"Are you guys alright?" Adrienne said and gave us a hug. I dried away some tears and nodded.
I went over to Billie. "T..T..Thanks!" I said. He looked at me and gave me a huge smile.
"No problem!" He said and gave me a big hug. I looked over at Markus. He smiled at me.
"Thanks everybody! It's been fun!" Markus said and laughed. We were having a dinner. Billie was buying. Everybody was there. Billie, Adrienne, Mike, Markus, Tre and I.
"Cheers!" he said and swallowed all of the champagne. I did the same. Billie stood up.
"Here's to the only couple I've met that have been through so much, and survived!" he said and winked at me. "To May and Markus!" He drank all of his third glass of champagne. He went over and gave Markus and me a big hug.
Markus' P.O.V
After a couple of hours everybody was pretty drunk. Even May. We were on the way home. Everything was so wonderful. I had gotten a whole bunch of celebrity friends and May was my girl. Could life get any better? I gave May a kiss on the cheek. She giggled.
"Isn't it weeeeird??" Billie said and laid his arm around Adrienne's shoulder. "It'shh like a movie! So much action never happens in a normal life!" Everybody laughed.
"I'm not so think as you drunk I am!" Tre said to a tree.
Mike laid his arm around Tre and started to drag him.
"I think we better get you home!" he said and called a taxi.
"So... what happens now?" May said and stopped.
"We probably won't meet again with you guys being famous..." she looked down.
"Don't worry sweetheart!" Tre said and gave May a hug.
"You trouble will get into. Us you need!" he laughed and fell down onto the sidewalk.
Mike looked at him. "Oh, now I have to carry him!" he said and started to drag Tre (who was sleeping) over to the taxi.
"He's right! You'll need us if you get into trouble!" Billie said as he stopped outside his house.
"Buh bye everybody!! I will now go in and." Adrienne stopped Billie.
"You know you will fall asleep on the couch!" she said and pushed him inside.
"Bye!" Adrienne smiled.
It was only May and me now. I kissed her.
"Will we see them again?" May asked. I thought about it.
"Yeah! I'm sure we will!" I said and went inside my house with May in my arm.
