Reincarnation, chapter 2
No, it couldn't be, thats just outrageous. My thoughts went back to that weird dream I had. Maybe that wasn't a dream. I thought. No, that is silly, I don't believe in reincarnation!
After awhile of searching my thoughts, I decided to call Josh. He picked up his phone, and replied. I could hear a faint whisper in the background.
"Hello?" He said into the phone. "Josh, it's Adie, pick me up, I have to talk to you about something." I whispered. He could tell by my voice that he shouldn't mess around with me. "Okay, Adirienne, I'll be there." He said and hung up.
I waited fifteen minutes until he showed up in front of the building. He looked at me surprised.
"Adie, what happened?" He asked. I told him everything. He just looked at me with a shocked expression.
"Adrienne, it was just a dream." He explained. I shook my head and pointed to the necklace. "Then how do you explain this?" I asked, tapping my foot on the ground. He stared at me with a blank expression.
"Adie, stop trying to scare me. I knew I shouldn't have done this, I've driven my best friend to insanity." He said. I shook my head. "No, it must of happened. I never had one like this!" I argued.
"Come on, you need sleep, we'll talk about this tomorrow." He said, and I nodded. We wnt back to our dorms and went back to bed.
I woke up to a crash. I sat up and raised my eyebrow at the sight of Josh on the floor. "Hey." He smiled .
"Josh, I have to talk to you, remember?" I said crossly. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "We could do some research." He said. I nodded my head and we went to the school library.
"Hello, I was wondering if we could get all the local newspapers dated in 2010?" I asked. The librarian nodded and smiled. She left the room and walked back in with heaps of newspapers. I sighed, this was gonna take awhile.
After what seemed like a hundred hours, we found something. "Rockstar and Family Tragedy." The headline said. "Adrienne Nesser, (picture at left.)" It said. I stopped there, and looked at the picture. My breath hitched. There was definitely a resemblence.
I looked exactly like her, the hair was obviously different. I gasped and called Josh over. He came over and looked at it. His eyes buldged out of there sockets.
"Its just a coincedence." He said. "No, it can't be, I mean, look at it, we look exactly alike!" I said. He just shook his head. "Look, just stay away from that place, nothing is gonna happen." He said and walked away. I got in my car and drove back to the concert hall.
When I got there, sleepieness came over me, and I fell asleep.
"'Cause she's 2,000 lightyears away!" I heard Billie scream into the microphone. My heart melted. He saw me and his expression seemed brighter. He walked over to me and put his arm on my waste.
"Hey babe, what's up?" He cooed into me ear. "Billie, that song was amazing!" I shouted. He smiled. He brushed his lips against mine.
"Adie, come on, we have a date, remember?" He said. I smiled, nodded, and followed him. We reached our destination.
"Adie, lie with me." He said, as we layed down underneath the stars. He looked at me, and pulled out a box.
"Adrienne, I want you to know, that you are the only woman I'll ever love, and that I want to be with you forever, Adrienne Nesser, will you marry me?" He asked with hope in his eyes. I gasped.
"Oh my fucking god, yes Billie, I'll marry you!" I said and kissed him. That night, we made love for the first time.
I woke up. I relived another dream, and suddenly my head was hurting. What is happening to me?
