Reincarnation, chapter 6

"Um, yeah." I mumbled as the man ushered me in, "But I'm not exactly the Adrienne you're looking for."

"Yes, I know. I'm not a dumbass." He laughed, "But you're here for a reason, I suppose?"

"Yes." I nodded, "It has to do with the murders of the Armstrongs."

"Ah, we've been expecting you." He smiled, sitting down. He patted a seat and told me to sit next to him.

"We? As in you and Mike?" I asked, quirking an eyebrow. He nodded.

"Hold on, I'll call him." He smiled, exiting the room. I nodded politely and looked around. Pictures and cymbals hung all around the room. It was a homely place. Tre came out about five minutes later.

"He should be here in-"

"I'm here bitches!" Mike yelled. Tre sighed.

"Now." I giggled. Mike showed up.

"That's her! That's really her!" Mike yelled, sitting on the couch next to me. "Now, let's get down to business."

"Yeah." Tre muttered, slightly annoyed with his overjoyed friend.

"Listen, I'm going to tell you this very slowly. " Mike said, nodding to himself, "Oh well, not really. We don't think Adrienne ever died."

"What?" I asked, clearly confused. Mike sighed.

"When Adrienne was shot, it was only in the leg. Well, we don't really know, as we were rushed out of the building as soon as possible," Mike paused, "But the reason that place is haunted, ya know, the place you can't stay away from, is because Adrienne lived, but Billie didn't. Wedding vows are supposed to last forever." Mike explained, "So you finally come in and well... That is where the reincarnation came in."

"Wait a second, how do you know it's me?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow, "It could be-"

"You have the necklace," Tre sighed, "You do know what this means, don't you?" he asked. I shook my head.

"Nope." I muttered. Mike sighed.

"In order for Billie, Adrienne and the kids to be reunited, you have to die this time." He mumbled, shaking his head.

"What? What do you mean?" I asked, not understanding this at all. He sighed once again.

"You need to go back to the theater and wait. Fall asleep and you shall have a different dream. A dream where Billie and Adrienne see each other for the last time. You're going to have to die in order for things to run smoothly." Tre sighed. I slowly stood up.

"I'm going to have to die?!? Are you crazy?" I asked.

"Sadly, no." Tre frowned, "But you have to do it."

"This is way too much for me to handle. Bye." I waved, storming out of the house.

"She'll come back." Tre nodded to his friend as I sped out of the driveway in a huff.
