Reincarnation, chapter 8
I was going to die. Today. All because this fucking dead couple I've barley seen had to pop up into my life and decide I'm going to die.
So there I stood. I was in front of the theatre, scared out of my wits.
"So..." Tre trailed off. "I take it this is goodbye?"
"Yes, you dumbass," I snapped. "Bye," I stuttered and angrily trudged off. I saw him frown.
"Bye," he whispered and slammed into his car. I rolled me eyes pissingly and made my way completely into the theatre. I sighed, staring at my wrist watch.
And of course everything went black.
There he stood. His black hair hung slightly in his sea green eyes. A frown spread across his face as he saw my troubled look.
"Adie, you know this is the end, right?" He asked me softly. I raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah," I whispered, slowly nodding my head, "I do." He smiled to himself before latching his arm with mine.
"I love you," he whispered, before everything started all over again.
"Adrienne! Where are you?" A mans voice called out to me. "Adie, what happened, did you fall?" The man asked. I didn't know him at first, but then he became familiar.
"Adie, did you hurt yourself? Can you walk? Let me check to see if you hurt something," The man said. He ran his hands up my black flowing skirt. 'Wait a minute, I wasn't wearing this.' I thought. His rand reached my thigh. "I can walk, Billie," I said. I was surprised to hear myself say his name. He smiled.
"Good, Adie, wish me luck?" He said, wrapping his arms around me, and brushing his lips against mine. I remembered everything then.
"Yes hun," I replied, pulling him into a deeper kiss. He slipped a guitar pick necklace around my neck. "Thanks babe," He said, and ran out on to the stage. Gunshots were heard. My mind went black, and the last thing I heard was Billie calling my name.

I soon woke up, finding myself staring at the ceiling. I frowned, turning over when I felt a tremendous pain in my leg. I shuddered as I stared up. My breathing became short gasps as I saw myself bleeding.
"Adrienne?" I heard someone gasp. It was Billie. He had a cast on his arm.
"I love you Billie." And my heart stopped beating.
My eyes snapped open as I sat up, clutching my head. I gasped at the dream of which I had just had.
Adrienne died along with her children...Billie Joe was the one who lived.
I didn't have to die.
I immediately stood up as a smile latched across my face. I grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket and dialed a number.
"Tre, I believe I have some shocking news..."
