The Prom Night That Brought Us Together, chapter 11
8:34am the clock showed in Katies room in the hospital. She was greeted with some breakfast that the nurse left for her. She began to eat when she saw Tre' walking in with April. They both had sad looks on their faces.
Katie was finishing up her breakfast and said,"Whats the matter with you guys, whats wrong, what happened?"
Tre' looked over to Katie and said,"I don't know how you are going to take this , but Billie Joe is having a drinking problem."
Katie just looked at Tre' like he was a dunbass and said,"Well yea, I know that Billie Joe likes to drink."
Tre' sat on Katie bed and said,"I know that, but he's coming to the point were he could be poisoned, he's drinking to much now."
Katie started to cry.
Then April walked over to Katie and gave her a hug saying,"It's ok Katie, I bet Billie Joe is going to be fine. It's ok Katie, it's ok."
Katie looked at April and said,"You can't say that April, Billie Joe is probably drinking because of me. He's going to through away his dream if he dies, it's going to be all my fault if he dies."
"Don't cry Katie." April said.
Then Katie came up with an idea"Hey Tre', can Billie stay at your house until I am out of the hospital?"
"Sure Katie, and by the way, were having a gig, but the problem is that it's at the same place were you and Billie broke up at." Tre' explained.
Katie just looked at her bandges on her arms and said,"Well, that's ok, I'll still come."
Then April cut in and said,"Yea, and I'll take you there so that we both can see our boy friends play, or do you just want to stay the night?'
Katie said,"Yea sure, we can go shopping for our clothes to wear at the gig because I want to really look nice for Billie Joe.
"Ok, that will be great." April said laughing.
They all talked for awhile, but then it was getting late and visiting hours were over.
"See you tomorrow Katie." April said.
"Ok see you then." Katie smiled and waved good-bye.
Tre' and April left. Katie looked at the clock and it was 10:20pm.
Then the nurse can in with good news,"Sence you have been so good for us Katie, will let you out tomorrow morning."
Katie was so happy, she said,"Yea, thank you so much."
The nurse walked out and said,"Your welcome honey."
Then she left, with no body left in the hallway.
Katie was so happy to get out early tomorrow, she waited about 15 minutes and tried to call April to tell her the good news.
April answered the phone and said,"Hello, this is April speaking."
"Hi April, guess what?" Katie was so over joyed.
April said,"What?"
"Well, the nurse came in about 15 minutes ago and she said that I can leave tomorrow morning." Katie said with excitement.
April was glad too and she said,"Thats great, I guess were going shopping early."
"Yep, anyway see you tomorrow April, I got to go because it's getting late and I want to get a good nights rest." Katie was starting to yawn.
April yawned too and said,"OK see you tomorrow."
Then they both said,"Bye."
Then they hung up the phone.
After she was off the phone all of her mind was focused on Billie Joe. She though about what she was going to wear at the gig, but that wasn't important right now, Billie was. She hoped to God that he wasn't going to kill himself. If he did then he would end up in th hospital like she did and she didn't want that to happen. She loved Billie Joe with all of her heart, he was her main priorady. But she was just hopeing that he will want her still, just hopeing that he did't find himself a girl friend already.
She thought and thought about him, she was going to forgive him.
