The Prom Night That Brought Us Together, chapter 17
Katie woke up around 11:45. Her head wasn't bothing her as much because she took that medicane during the night. She didn't see Billie besider. She walked down stairs and heard the stove on, and to see Billie Joe cooking breakfast. She took a seat at the table and had her head laying on the table still tired.
"Didn't you sleep well?' Billie Joe said turning around to face her.
She sat up and said, "Kinda."
Billie Joe put a plate down on the table for Katie that had pancakes and bacon, with some eggs. He sat down himself and was eating his breakfast. He replied, "Do you remember anything that happen last night?"
"Some." Katie said while taking a bite of her bacon.
Billie Joe got them some orange juice, and said,"Well the police officer wanted you to call him so he can ask you some questions."
Katie didn't say anthing, she finished her breakfast and went ver to the phone to call the police officer.
"Hello?" The man on phone said.
"Hi, this is Katie Johnson, and I was told to answer some of your questions."
"Aww yes, first of all my name is Mr. Geller. Anyway my first question is, do you know how Brian broke in?
Katie rubbed her head and said, "I dont know for sure, but it was dark when he caught me."
Mr. Geller wrote it down on the piece of paper and said,"Ok, next question. What time did you notice he was there?"
Katie looked over at Billie Joe and said,"I think somewhere between 3:00am-4:00am, something like that.
He wrote it again down and repled,"Alright, next question. What did he do to you?"
Katie looked at her watch and said,"Well I was downstairs doring the night and I was going to get some medicane so my headache would go away. So I was going back up stairs to go back to bed, when he grabbed me and threw me on the couch. He was going to rape me, and he said if I'd scream he woud kill me because he had a knife in his poket. I kicked him in his crouch, and I ran to the kitchen to get some kind of protection to defend me. I ran up stairs to get Billie, when he grabed my arm and I sorta stabbed him. When I got to the bedroom to tell Billie, Brian through a vase I had up for display, and he through it at me. Thats when I fell uncnscious with a cut on my head. And then thats When Billie Joe woke up.
"Wow, ok thank you miss. Thats all the questions I have for you. If we have any more, we'll contact you. Thank you for giving us your time, Goodbye." Mr Geller said, and ung up the phone.
"Holy shit, that was fast." Katie said in shook. She looked over to Billie Joe setting at the table. Katie started to cry and said,"Whst happenes if he gets out of jail and comes and finds me?"
Billie Joe hugged her and gave her a kiss on her forhead saying,"He's not coming back, and if he does, I'm here with you so don't worry. Hey, how about we go get some ice cream?"
Katie shook her head yes, and they went. Billie figured that maybe getting ice cream well help her for awhile forget about Brain.
