The Prom Night That Brought Us Together, chapter 2
They were in love.
The song that they were dancing to was "A moment Like This."
"I'm sorry about what I did to you Katie. I had no idea that you liked me." Billie Joe said while hugging her while they danced.
Katie looked in his green eyes that gave a sparkle and said,"It's ok Billie Joe. You didn't know that I liked you and for the longest time I didn't know that you liked me. So don't worry about it."
"Ok and I won't ever do thi to you again, cross my heart and hope to die." Billie Joe said with a giggle.
"Ok, you better not silly." Katie said when she gave him a kiss on his soft lips.
"Well if I could get a kiss for every time I said that, then I would be one lovable guy." Billie Joe started to laugh.
They kissed. They danced to a couple of songs. It was getting late.
"Hey why don't you let me drop you off home because I was your date tonight." Billie Joe lookd into her big brown eyes and said that.
Katie thought about it, "Um sure, yea why not."
Katie told her friend April and Tre that she was going home with Billie Joe and if that was ok with them.
"Yea sure thats fine." April and Tre said.
April gave Katie a weenk and said,"Have fun."
Katie laughed and went to find Billie Joe so they could go.

In the car both Billie Joe and Katie got in.
During the drive Billie Joe said, "So did your parents buy you those dimonds or did you just buy them or...I just ment whoever bought them has good taste."
Katie started to cry.
"Whats amatter, did I say something?" Billie Joe was really confused.
"No you didn't say anything wrong, it's just that my parents are dead. They died when I was 7 and I was all alone." Katie started to cry harder.
"I'm so sorry, I should have ever have brought that up. My father died when I was 10. But I bet its even worste to lose both parents." Billie Joe said trying to calm her down with a hug.
Katie did started to calm down and she looked at Billie Joe and said, "I don't want to be alone any more."
"I no you dont. Right now I'm here and you wil never be along, not as long as I am here." Billie Joe said with a smile.
They both drived home filling loved by each other.
Billie Joe stopped at Katies house and said, "You can stay at my house if you would like to?"
Katie said, "Ok, but I have to get a few things first."
Katie walked into her house and got some clothes and any other personal belongings that she would need. She also changed out of her Prom dress.
She got back into the car with Billie Joe and said, "Ok, I'm ready to go now."
Billie Joe and Katie drove off. It was around 1:00am when they got to Billie Joes house.
Billie Joe looked over to Katie and said,"To be a nice gentalmen, I am going to let you sleep in my bed while I'll sleep on the couch."
"Ok, if you want me too." Katie said with a smile.
She went up stairs and went to sleep. Billie Joe did a lot of thinking before he went to sleep. he thought about how it would be like to have no parets at all. Losing his dad was bad enough, but having to lose both parents would be terrible.
Before falling asleep, he went up stairs to check on Katie. How she was lying she could see where Katie had some scares on her wristes. Billie Joe was wondering what it could be from, and if she cut herself, then why? He gave her a soft kiss on her cheek and covered her up. He went down stairs, got onto the couch and went to sleep.

10:48am the clock showed. Katie got up and went down stairs to see where Billie Joe was makng breakfast for her.
"Mmmm something spells good." Katie said while walking over to Billie Joe to give him a good morning kiss. But Billie Joe beat her to it and gave her a kiss on the lips.
"So did you sleep well?" Billie Joe said before asking her about her scares.
Katie looked over to the food wen she said,"Yea I did, what about you?"
Billie Joe just said and tryed to set her down and said,"Yea I did, but anyway why do you have scares on your wrists?"
Katie was puzzled.
